You yawn loudly stretching and get out of bed putting on your daily attire. Last night was tiring you're back was killing you from the position you were in from reading all of those history books. You put on the last of you're gear and head out of you're room.
It was surprisingly quiet you'd usually hear Thor, and Sif arguing or talking loudly like usual but no. You knock on the large wooden door but nothing. you take a small peek in their room but not even Sif was in there. That's weird you thought but didn't really pay too much attention to it because they could be doing something. You make you're way down the hallway and see Odin impatiently waiting for you.
"Morning (Y/N)." "Oh good morning all fathe-" he cuts you off "I have a mission for you to go on with Loki and Thrud.. It's pretty important and I'm trusting you to keep everything in line." "Of course all father I won't disappoint you" you give a small bow.
"Loki knows he'll tell you about it"
you nod and start to walk out- "Oh and Heimdall is coming with you." Of course he is you thought. You leave to find the two teens in annoyance from the news and quickly find them laughing.
"Oh good morning (Y/N)!" Loki says with a smile. "I see you've heard about the mission?" He says you respond a little annoyed, and sigh "yup..the all father was waiting for me in the haul.." You look down a little disappointed, Loki and Thrud sighs "Yeah..you and Heimdall have been getting the majority of the missions lately..I haven't even seen my father on one in a while."
"Ah I see.." You take a small pause "well then..I think it's about time to start the mission. What do you guys think?" Thrud and Loki both get up as they nod and head back to meet with Odin. You follow not too far behind. You make it back to see Heimdall standing by the all father with a grim smirk. "I see you guys are finally back. Well then.." Odin hands Loki a small wooden mask that's missing most of it's pieces, and Loki takes it putting it on his back. "Ok now you guys should be on your way" Odin dismisses them walking back to his room as crows start to surround you all.
"So..Loki what's this "important" mission about?" You say with a small chuckle.
"Oh yeah.. Odin wants me to find all the pieces to this mask." He grabs it from his back and shows it to you. You get a better look at it and realize..It looks a kinda familiar? You brush it off and nod. Heimdall groans and walks to an empty space. "I'd love to see you guys make utter fools of yourself but, I have a mission I must complete for the all father..If you run into trouble, just scream so I know where to find your bodies.." He chuckles disappearing in black feathers. Thrud sighs "he's such an asshole." You snicker and continue on your journey. You end up getting lost wondering off but soon find them, untying garms chains. You gasp and run over but it was too late. Garm decides not to attack growling and tears a huge hole jumping in. Heimdall appears behind you all.
"You absolute, unqualified moron. You know that thing tears holes between realms, right?" He pushes Loki back "Well I suppose I should expect nothing less.. From half-breeds. Loki gets irritated stepping closer to heimdall " Don't call me a half-" suddenly Heimdall grabs his scabbard and hits Loki right in the stomach setting him to his knees. "I will call you whatever I like.. Junior. " Thrud cuts in "Leave him alone..It was a mistake- " NO, the mistake was allowing you to think that you're ready." Heimdall takes a small pause and looks at you. "Why didn't you watch them!?..You helped them didn't you? What side are you on anyway...Sunshine?" Thrud looks straight into Heimdalls eyes "leave them alone.." Heimdall puts his hands up in surrender walking back some mockingly laughing at the young girl. "Oh, and what are..you going to do, exactly?" Thrud suddenly tries to kick Heimdall, clearly missing and gets back up.
He chuckles. "You see, everyone takes it easy on you because they are afraid of your father..I am not..that fat, drunken utter Thrud starts throwing punches at Heimdall, him dodging with ease. piece of trash!" He pushes Thrud almost causing her to fall.
You've decided that you seen enough. Both you and Loki yell getting in front of Thrud. "HEY!" You look in Heimdalls eyes "that's enough.." He snickers looking you up and down. "You really think you can fight me..how amusing..and STUPID!" Thrud pushes through both you and Loki "Again!"
"Yes, yes. The dumb does not fall far from the tree. Very well, then. He bows looking at her with a cocky smirk "Give me your best shot.
" Thrud yells trying to punch him but fails yet again. Heimdall kicks her down to the floor. "You have a lot to learn, little girl.. Starting with who your family is...and who it is not." Thrud talks in a whisper "just wait until I'm a Valkyrie." Heimdall scoffs getting quiet for a short moment. "Oh.. You really believe the all father would allow that to happen?" He sighs looking down and then points at Loki "please, do not let this little weasel feed your delusions any longer.." He gets up starting to walk away until Thrud yells making him turn back quickly. "ENOUGH!" she starts running for him as electric bolts start to eraticates from her. Your body moves by itself as you run in front of Heimdall protecting him while Loki holds Thrud back. You could not believe what you just did. You slowly look back to see a smirking heimdall, and immediately move from his guard. "Aww how sweet..did you really just try to protect me?" You try to speak but hold your tongue. "He looks back at Thrud with an annoyed expression. "So close." Loki tries to calm Thrud down as Heimdall yawns and stretches. "WOW, you toddlers are.. Boring.. If you are finished throwing your little tantrum, we should go now.. Because I cannot wait to watch you explain this mess to the all father..oh it's going to be glorious." He looks at you one last time and chuckles before walking away.
