Igneel was enraged. Utterly enraged. He felt nothing but dread for the creatures. They prance around on their scrawny two legs, thinking they were all mighty and glorified. They walk leaving destruction in their wake, and they do not realize the carnage felt behind them.

For countless centuries, they took over many lands. All the spirits and dominating kinds, Dragons, Badger-Moles, Tsuki-Kami, and Bison of the Sky, agreed that the worthy Lion-Turtle sages would oversee the humans.

The other dominating kinds watched over their own subspecies. Dragons -both reptiles and amphibians. Tsuki-Kami -over saw all creatures of the sea. The Bison of the Skies -any creatures of mountain sides and any creature that soared. The Badger-moles -for all insects and all land based animals and spirits of the earth (and despite their lack of sight, because they were of many numbers).

The Lion-Turtles had only a single job.

Removing their ability to grant powers for humans to survive the outskirts of their backs, and their wisdom from age, they were lazy in foreseeing the negatives of their kindness. They needed to maintain the human growing rates and their population. All the turtles had a single species while Dragons had countless lizards and billions of frogs, Bisons of the Sky had anything that flies, Tsuki-Kami had anything within the water that covered two thirds of the planet, and Badger-Moles and an infinity of insects and every animal not seen over the other kinds. Yet, being both wise and ancient, they manage to create a downfall.

Humans expanded out. They met with other humans and spread their idea of rebelling against balance. The one to start it all had caused the Lord Spirit of Darkness to take the land, made the Lord Spirit of Light grew weak, and led her to embedding herself into him. Next on the list of idiotic actions, the human caged all the spirits to their dimension rather than letting them roam and having the Lord Spirit of Darkness trapped.

This caused much outrage for all animals, being connected with the spirits at a higher level than humans. They began to rebel against their leaders as well. They left the guidance of the kinds for their own pleasures.

Then the humans came to them, begging for more power. They wanted to establish orders and societies. Some of the four kind were foolish to agree. The Bison of the Sky were the first to leave and become pets. Their relation with the airborne did involve the equality as the humans claimed. There were no wars nor any disrespect. The other kinds wished to see this as well.

Tsuki-Kami was locked in the spirit dimension, therefore she had no chance. However, on her longest nights of the year, she came to children and taught them to flow with water. She taught them to heal and mend so they could be neutral for both sides incase of war.

The Badge-moles were stubborn. However, they bonded unintentionally. Humans followed them and copied their sturdy and concentrated movement. They never agreed to any negotiation with the humans. They merely let them be and hissed at them if too close.

The dragons took centuries to be confirmed with. Even though the human who had the Lord Spirit of Light inside was a fire breather, the dragons refused. They found it disgraceful to teach their arts to pitiful trash. They wouldn't control and weave fire. They would not understand the incredible amount of effort it took for a huff of smoke.

It was another thing to know that... their Kind was not mostly Fire Dragon at the beginning. The kind was of all different elements. Their kind was seen to watch over animals on land who had scale skin and other attributes. Their soul purpose was to protect their kind and treasures, not breath fire and be weapons.

However, soon a kind Light Dragon king gave in, to stop their constant pestering.

Centuries after, half of the dragon race was mercilessly slaughtered. Most were dragons that were not of the four element the humans had. Dragons of Lightning and Poison were burned to death. The Dragons of Light and Shadows were drowned. Many Dragons of Metal were blown apart, and Dragons of Trees were crushed to death.
