[JEONGIN]
"i'm gonna go out!" jeongin quickly announced in his house while he put his shoes on.
"you are?" his brother questioned, happy he was able to respond fast enough before jeongin can leave without another word. "you've been going out a lot lately."
jeongin scoffed with a laugh, "you say that like that's a bad thing." his brother was now peeking out a doorway from the kitchen in the hallway that led to their front door. jeongin chuckled slightly at the funny sight.
he smiled, "it's not, you need to leave the house more! where are you heading?"
"i'm just gonna meet up with a friend."
jeongins brother furrowed his brows. jeongin would usually name drop whenever he asked— hearing he was going out with a 'friend' sounded new. he stared at jeongin to the point where he knew he was getting uncomfortable. he did this a lot to his younger brother: staring as if he already knew the secret he was hiding, the words he never spoke. it wasn't a way to force jeongin to say anything, just a little brotherly teasing.
"hm, okay stay safe!" jeongins brother waved and went back into the kitchen where he was originally. jeongin sighed, feeling as if he was holding in a big secret—which he was. the long and quiet stare worked every single time. being unable to lie to his brother and confess, you would think it would make it easier to just blatantly tell him; it never did. jeongin never felt like he had to hide anything— something in him just wanted to for no reason.
"i'm gonna see my boyfriend." jeongin spoke loud enough for his brother to hear in the next room.
"yeah, i figured! call me if you need anything!" his brother shouted back, letting out a big laugh.
jeongin face palmed himself, "you're not gonna ask who he is?" he replied back, unable to go into the kitchen himself with his shoes on already.
jeongins brother popped his head out the door frame again, "no, i know how you hate being late. catch me up when you get back. be back by 11!" he laughed, his hand pointing at the sky as he disappeared left the door frame.
