So I'm back with the first official chapter. This is about five years later than the Epilogue. Also, the song in the story is the same as the one above. Enjoy!
Annabeth
The sound of a baby's cry filled the air.
Annabeth hurried to the other room. She rushed in to pick up the crying baby girl.
Aleah Bianca they had named her.
Annabeth held her crying daughter tightly. The crying stopped. Annabeth smiled. This wisdom thing really helped as a new mom.
After she changed Aleah she layed her down in the crib for a nap. After she was sure the tiny girl was sleeping, she left the room and went back to her husband in the kitchen. Suprisingly the dishes were done, but Percy was nowhere in sight. Suddenly a splash of water hit her. She yelped. The water was ice cold.
"Perseus Jackson you had better come here right now!" Annabeth threatened.
Percy stepped out of the shadows and grabbed her from behind.
"Yes, dear?" he teased, holding Annabeth tightly so she couldn't escape his grip.
"Why did I marry a son of Posiedon," she complained. "Anything I try to do, I get wet. Either by you or by Aleah." still she smiled. "But I guess I can't help but love you," she said as Percy continued to hold her.
"Nope, you can't" Percy said as he turned her and kissed her.
The doorbell interrupted their kiss. Frank and Hazel were there.
"Hey guys, come on in." Annabeth invited. "What brings you over here?"
Hazel looked at Frank for approval. He nodded. "I'm pregnant!" Hazel announced excitedly.
Annabeth squealed, which was something she hardly ever did. Percy looked over at her with his eyebrow raised, but she just shrugged it off. "I'm so happy for you!" she told Hazel as she moved to sit by her friend.
Percy and Frank moved over to the other chairs and were talking. Suddenly, Annabeth heard something fall upstairs. "Aleah" she thought. It seemed as if no one else had heard the noise. She excused herself for a minute so she could check on her daughter. Annabeth hurried up the stairs.
She walked into Aleah's room and was shocked. Her daughter was lying on her back in her crib, but a massive storm surrounded her. Aleah giggled as she played with the lightning and fire.
"Percy!" Annabeth screamed. Even with all her Athenian wisdom she had no idea what to do.
"Percy!" she screamed again more desperately than last time. Percy rushed to her side.
"Annabeth, what's wrong?" he demanded.
Annabeth just pointed at Aleah's crib. she heard Percy gasp, along with Hazel and Frank behind them.
"What do we do?" Frank asked.
For once, Percy took charge. "We have to stop that storm," he said. "Hazel, I need you to Iris message Rachel Dare and Chiron at camp. Annabeth, take Blackjack and go find Piper and Jason. Frank, do you think you can fly to Leo and Calypso's shop and get them? We'll need all the help we can get. I'll try and control the storm for now, but I can't control the lightning and the wind, or the fire. I'll need help with that. Tell everyone to meet back here as soon as possible. Hurry!" he urged them, and everyone left to set the plan in motion.
"Shh Baby," Percy said. "Daddy and Mommy and their friends are gonna help you."
He started singing,
"Baby mine, don't you cry.
Baby mine, dry your eyes.
Rest your head close to my heart,
Never to part, baby of mine.
Little one, when you play,
Pay no heed what they say.
Let your eyes sparkle and shine,
Never a tear, baby of mine.
If they knew all about you,
They'd end up loving you too.
All those same people who scold you,
What they'd give just for the right to hold you.
From your head down to your toes,
You're not much, goodness knows.
But, you're so precious to me,
Sweet as can be, baby of mine."
So that's it! I hope you like it. Sorry my chapters are short, but I hope they'll be longer in the future! Bye!!!
