The Power of the Gods (Percy Jackson)

Chapter 2

I got another chapter up already!! I hope y'all like it!

Soon all of Percy and Annabeth's friends were gathered in Aleah's bedroom. Jason and Percy had finally gotten control of the storm. Piper charm-spoke Aleah into falling asleep, and the adults moved to sit in the living room.

Everyone started asking questions at once, when Rachel Dare raised her voice.

"Ahem. Chiron and I think we have figured out what is happening."

Everyone went silent. Percy spoke up from where he sat next to Annabeth, his arm around her tightly, "What is it Rachel?"

Rachel took at deep breath and recited the great prophecy once more.

One Demi-god shall be born with a curse

All the power of Olympus, for better or for worse

But if the world is to live at all

The children of another, soon must fall

Rachel finished reciting the prophecy and looked towards Chiron.

The old centaur spoke up, "We think that the prophecy is speaking about Aleah."

The news slowly sunk in.

"What do you mean?" Annabeth said.

"Your daughter is very powerful, she holds the fate of the world in her hands." Chiron spoke softly.

"No!" Percy exclaimed. "I won't let that happen. I'm not going to let my daughter go through the same things I had to. Wondering if she would be able to save the world, or if something would go wrong and the world would die and it be her fault. I won't let it happen Chiron! How could she even be the child in the prophecy? She's the daughter of two demi-gods not the daughter of a mortal and a god?" Percy said now in tears. Annabeth put her arms around him and led him over to the couch where he sat down and wept.

Chiron rolled his wheelchair over to him, and placed his hand on his shoulder.

"Percy, I know this is hard for you, but you must accept what the fates have chosen. Aleah is still a demi-god. You have 50% of Poseidon's blood in you. Annabeth has 50% of Athena's blood. If Aleah has gotten 25% of Poseidon blood in her, and 25% of Athens blood in her, then she would still have 50% godly blood making her a half-blood, or demi-god." Chiron said.

All of the demi-gods were looking at him very confused, except for Annabeth who was in shock.

"So what do we do?" Percy asked of Chiron.

Suddenly the earth rumbled outside and four skeletons made their way inside the Jackson home. They all headed to Aleah's room.

"Oh my gods!" screamed Annabeth as she raced up the stairs to her room. Everyone quickly followed.

When they reached Aleah's room, they were in shock. More skeletons were climbing through her window.

"Hazel help!" Annabeth shouted as she gripped Percy's hand tightly.

"I can't do anything. I don't have those powers. Only my dad and Nico do!" Hazel yelled over the noise of the skeletons. "Where's your brother when you need him?"

Nico materialized out of the shadows behind her. "Right here." he said. Scaring everyone.

"Thank the gods you're here Hazel said as she hugged him tightly. "Can you make them go away?"

"Of course," Nico said as he smirked at his sister.

He shouted at the skeletons in Latin, and they all disappeared.

"Now that was creepy," Leo said and Calypso elbowed him in the ribs. He glared at her. Even when she was pregnant she still was mean.

"What in Hades is going on here?" Nico asked, then apologized. "Sorry dad." Jason snickered.

"Remember the great prophecy from like five years ago?" Frank asked, stepping next to his fiancee. "It's coming true."

For those of you who are wondering here is what happened. Percabeth has been married for 2 and a half years and has a a 3 month old daughter named Aleah Bianca Jackson.

Jiper/Jasper has been married for almost two years and had an 8 month old son named Austin Jaylen Grace

Frazel has been married for 6 months and has now announced that they are expecting. (I am so not telling y'all the gender of the baby or the name)

Caleo has been married for 15 months and is 7 months pregnant with a baby boy that they are naming Hadyn Caleo (possibly)

I may change my mind on the baby name, but It is a boy. Name ideas are accepted for both Calypso and Leo's baby and Frank and Hazel's baby.
