Batman was pacing in the mission room. He was bothered, he would never admit that he was worried. Never. Therefore, he was bothered.

Two hours and sixteen minutes. That was the time that passed since the Team had to make contact. One hour ago, he had sent for Black Canary. Half an hour ago, he had sent for Martian Manhunter. Five minutes ago, was the last time they tried to make contact, with no answer. Even Martian Manhunter tried to make contact with M'Gann, to no avail.

Batman was pacing, Black Canary was on the screen again, without getting any answer, again. J'onn was officially very worried. His niece had made no effort on contacting him, and they had been on radio silence for 2 hours and 16 minutes ... well now 17.

- You think they're fine? - Asked Donna (Troia), while sitting in the living room with La'gaan (Lagoon Boy), Garth (Tempest), Barbara (Batgirl), Karen (Bumblebee) and Mal (Guardian).

- I'm sure they are fine, after all, they are our seniors, remember? That's why they went over there, and we didn't - Said Garth, not with malice in his voice, but something in there. He was going trough a very interesting book.

- Garth is right, they are way more experienced than us, and probably are laying low to avoid trouble or something - Mal said, rationalizing the dilemma..

- They're overreacting if you ask me, they wouldn't be like this if it were us. If we were there, they just would be sending whoever was left here. But not their precious protégés. As usual, running to them the minute they're in trouble. They're the golden kids, and we are the rest. - Said La'gaan, as he went through the channels finding some action show that called his attention.

- Maybe you're just jealous. - Said Barbara, who was cleaning her gadgets sitting on the counter, and was bothered by his comment. She had spared and trained with all eight of them, and they were good. They worked way better than they ever could, and trusted each other completely. And they definitely do not trash talk behind other backs, or at their faces for that matter.

- I agree with Barbara. They are over there because they don't bicker like this, or judge each other by prejudices or jealousy. - Said Karen, continuing Barbara's thought. - Besides, if they can't handle what ever happen, who are they going to send, us? -

- Whatever, it doesn't matter. They'll be back with some lame excuse like why didn't they make contact and, because they're them, they'll get away with it. - La'gaan was not jealous, he wasn't even mad. His friend Tula was gone, and he blamed Aqualad. That's all. It was easier to blame the "seniors" as they were in charge, therefore, they are to be blamed.

Not to mention that they are so spoiled. The League always spoiled them, and let them run things their way, just because they're the first sidekicks. Heck, this "TEAM" was forged because they were throwing a tantrum about not going to the Watchtower! They're so spoiled that they couldn't be happy with just to be recognized as sidekicks. They even had the audacity of wanting to be in equal terms with The King and the other members of the League. That's what La'gaan was thinking, but he was not jealous.

It was now 02:56 and Batman had enough. - Lets go, we're going to Sao Paulo. I activated the ship's tracking device as well as Nightwing's. They appear to be in the same place, but are still unwilling or unable to respond. We'll meet them over there - Commanded to Dinah and J'onn, who had no complains as they were worried sick as well.

They went through the Ztube to get the Team, while Lagoon boy rolled his eyes for they went in person, just as he had predicted.
