Third Person's POV

On a rare sunny winter day in Laoc, the capital city, three girls—Arianna, Evangeline, and Felicity—were inside, working on their thesis. The warmth of the living room was cozy compared to the cold outside.

Arianna, tapping away on her laptop, glanced up occasionally while Evangeline took snapshots on her phone and Felicity engrossed herself in a book.

"Angel, can you bring our snacks here?" Felicity, with her phone in hand, asked Arianna. Without hesitation, Evangeline got up and headed to the kitchen counter nearby. They were in the living room, adjacent to the kitchen.

"You really are our angel, Angel," Felicity quipped, grabbing cookies and munching on them in quick bites.

"Hey, stop it and finish your food, Feli. You're talking with your mouth full. That's bad manners," Evangeline teased, pointing her finger at Felicity.

Even the girl engrossed in her laptop couldn't help but laugh at their banter.

"Arias, look at her! She's picking on me again," Felicity complained to Arianna, pointing accusingly at Evangeline.

"Stop it, guys. We still need to finish this thesis, remember?" Arianna said, trying to contain her laughter at her two friends teasing each other. She grabbed some muffins and took a sip of a hot cocoa, perfect for the cold weather.

"You're too busy with our thesis when we still have a week to finish it," Felicity protested.

"Five days, actually, Feli. And I was trying to finish it quickly because I have a date, you know?" Arianna grinned mischievously, irritating Felicity. Felicity dropped the cookies she was eating upon hearing this revelation.

"A date. Your always with your boyfriend anyway. It's not like he's going anywhere. Share some time with us, not just with your boyfriend. My social skills are getting rusty because you never join our outings," Felicity pouted, expressing her need for Arianna's company.

"Stop it, Feli. It's not like you're with your boyfriend every day," Evangeline chuckled at her friend while walking back to the kitchen, only to hear the oven alarm go off.

"That's right! Why didn't I realize your wording?" Evangeline exclaimed, covering her mouth as she teased Felicity.

"Shut up! You're not even helping!" Felicity retorted, feeling flustered and slightly embarrassed.

As they settled down to finish their work, Evangeline's eyes welled up with tears. Arianna noticed and quickly approached her, while Felicity, feeling guilty, joined in the comforting embrace.

"Sorry, Evangeline. I didn't mean to shout at you. Please don't cry," Felicity said, her cheeks flushed from her apology.

Evangeline nodded, quickly wiping her tears with a tissue Arianna handed her. She smiled sweetly at her friends.

"I'm sorry too. I was being too playful earlier," Evangeline apologized to Felicity, attempting to hug her. Just then, the door suddenly swung open, and the room filled with laughter until the newcomers caught sight of the girls' emotional moment and Evangeline's teary eyes.

"Ahem... Did we interrupt something?" one of the guys said, sensing the awkward atmosphere upon entering the room where the girls were having a moment.

"Ugh! You ruined the vibe! Thanks, Mr. Jacob," Felicity grumbled, rolling her eyes and tossing a pillow at him. It turned into a chaotic pillow fight between the two.

They would've continued if their playfulness hadn't almost caused Arianna's laptop to fall off the table, resulting in her annoyance. As always, Jacob bore the brunt of Arianna's reprimand.
