Jason's P.O.V.
I got ready to sit up from reading to Piper to tell her that it was almost to late for her to be in my cabin and that I didn't want the harpies to be on our tail, I realized she was asleep. I didn't want to move, but I finally did. She groaned and shifted off of me, a soft snore coming from her mouth. I went and re-hid my journal and walked back to Piper. She looked so peaceful, her breathing was so soft sounding. She was so beautiful. I couldn't believe she chose to be with me. Me, a constant ball of stress, barely talking about anything but building the new shrines for all of the gods, annoyingly busy. She was so laid-back, caring, compassionate, and patient. She was the calm to my storm. I hadn't realized it, but she had woken up, and I was staring at her, nice moves Grace.
"Hey," she said sleepily, "why are you staring at me?"
"Just, uh," I said blushing.
"That's what I thought," she said smugly.
"You caught me Beauty Queen," I said, laughing. We walked over to her cabin fast, neither one of us wanted the harpies to catch us. We stood outside, holding hands for a few minutes. She stood on her tiptoes up to my ear.
"Goodnight Sparky," she whispered. I tried to cover the shudder that her words sent down my spine.
"Goodnight Pipes," I said, leaning down to to kiss her. The kiss was warm, like the beach. The kiss was getting a little serious when we heard someone clear their throat behind us. We broke apart fast and clumsily. Piper sneaked a quick look at me. I understood fully. More where that came from. The small Aphrodite camper was a blonde girl. Piper had mentioned her to me before, but I couldn't remember her name, due to the making out a few seconds ago.
"Um Piper, would you mind coming into the cabin? Michael needs you." she said awkwardly.
"Of course, bye Jason," she said. With a peck on my cheek, she was off.
