Jason's P.O.V.
I slipped into the infirmary in the late morning because I knew how much Nico liked to sleep. I walked towards where one of the medical kids pointed me to. Nico's room was way farther away than the other kids' rooms. I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard the sound of laughter coming from inside. 'Hm, was this really Nico's room?' I thought to myself. Yep, the Apollo kid definitely meant this room. I creaked the door open, surprised to find that the laughter was coming from the Ghost King himself! Nico di Angelo, laughing? No, couldn't be, I've never heard him do that before. I checked again. He was clutching at his stomach due to this new, foreign thing of laughter. I looked at the culprit of this wonderful crime and the cause was an Apollo kid. What was his name again? Oh yeah, it started with a W.
"Oh my gods, you are so funny Will," Nico said wiping a tear from his eye. Will! That was his name! Man, I am bad with names. I cleared my throat, seeing as that worked for that little Aphrodite girl whose name I could still not remember.
"Oh hi um, Jason, right?" Will said grabbing my hand for a shake. Nico's cheeks were red and so were Will's. Were they a thing?
"Yes, nice to meet you-"
"Will, Will Solace," Will said grinning.
"Yes, I came to check on Nico, seeing as he is stuck here for another two days-" I rambled.
"At least, yes, his condition is improving, but he may have to stay here a little longer." Will interrupted.
"Calm down, Sunshine," Nico grumbled.
" Sunshine?" I asked.
"Yea, Sunshine?" Will asked innocently.
"Shut up, why are you here Grace?" he asked, scowling again.
"Oh, just to visit my dear friend Nico of course. How have you been doing?" I asked.
"Fine," he replied shortly. I could take a hint, if Nico wanted to be alone with Will fine.
"I have to get going, Piper and I have something planned," I lied.
"Okay, nice to meet you, bye," Will said, was that a hint of jealousy in his voice?
"Okay you too, I replied.
I was sad, Nico had found a new friend, or something like that, and left me alone. Percy and Frank were always off with their girlfriends , and with Leo newly gone, it stung a little, not going to lie. I left to find the one person who was always there for me, Pipes.
