Ophelia Angelique Campbell was a normal girl.
She really was. Everybody could see that from afar.
She always smiled. Always. Even if somebody wronged her. And this was what made her special. The whole community of Beacon Hills adored her and her optimism. Except for one person: Polonius Campbell.
Her father had been on edge since her mother had left and he started acting weird. A little insult here and there, a little hit... A break from her difficult home-situation were Ophelia's friends.
There was Jackson Whittemore who was like an older brother to Ophelia. They grew up under similar circumstances. Their parents were wealthy, but they never really had time for their children. It was obvious that they would get along.
Then there was Lydia Martin, Jackson's girlfriend. Ophelia and her had bonded quickly once they had met and they became friends soon after. Lydia had always felt the urge to protect her friend from every evil in the world. She wanted Ophelia to stay the happy little sunshine she had got to know. Meanwhile Ophelia admired her best friend for her confidence. She looked up to her friend who inspired her.
Isaac Lahey was another part of her friends. He was basically her twin and always knew how she felt even if she did not say it out loud. In difficult situations, they would always end up running to each other, seeking comfort.
And finally, there were Scott McCall and Stiles Stilinski. The three of them were close and Ophelia spent most of her time with the two of them. This was about to change when her best friend, Scott, got bitten by a werewolf. Him and Stiles decide that they want to keep Ophelia safe. They wanted to protect her at all costs and did not want to disturb her perfect life, so they kept it a secret.
Little did they know she would have needed the two of them.
