The dance is getting closer. Everyone is going with someone. Al asked Elizabeth. Sally and Sam. I guess Mary asked Zach. Mary has guts. Cause I wouldn't be able to ask a GUY to the dance. But they are going and now dating. And Shay is going with Mack. So they are all going with someone. I feel so alone. It's like no fair. I'll never get my own fairy tale. It's like I'm stuck in everyone else's and I never get my own. But my friends begged my to go. How could I say no. They would just keep begging and I'd end up saying yes anyways. But I could just see me and Jack together. Way better than Heather. I hate her guts. But hey she started it. She hated my guys first. Like in gym class today... She got to pick who she wanted in her dodgeball team. Now I'm really good in gym class. But she glared at me. And never picked me. She picked all the good people. So I got stuck with all the kids that aren't that good in gym. We lost 7 times! Yep. We sucked. Heather isn't even good at dodgeball. She just complains and gossips the whole time while her team destroys mine. I mean what did I ever do to her! After gym we all went to lunch. And I was so busy righting in my diary that I didn't even know Jack was right across me. So this how it went, Elizabeth talking to me but I'm too busy righting to listen. Then I got a tap on the shoulder. I didn't know who it was and it really freaked me out. I mean I screamed and fell on the floor. Then the person who tapped me helped me get up. Jack. He said sorry. But he said he just wanted to talk. And being the moron that I am. I said okay. We talked but I didn't really know what to say. We used to be good friends until I started liking him. Now I never make out the right words. And we would be even better friends if all if his 'new friends' (the cool kids) weren't around Heather. Anyway we talked more. Just about sports and that kinda stuff. Then sadly lunch was over but I was in a great mood the rest of the day.
