The dance.

-Hey guys! Before you read this chapter. I want to let you know that the dress Renee wore to the dance is the one up above. Hope you guys like reading this chapter as much as I liked to write it-

The dance. Finally the day everyone at school had been talking about. And I couldn't help myself and had to talk about it too. But now it's Saturday. And I have no one to tell what I am thinking. So I have all of these ideas running threw my mind on what it's gonna look like. How Jack and I will dance. IF Jack and I will dance at all. IF I Finally get my first kiss. Anyways I am having second thoughts with my dress. I tried texting, calling and snapchating all my friends but they are probably all getting ready while I am deciding if my dress would be good enough. Then there was a knock on my bedroom door. It was my mom. And she was holding the most gorgeous dress I had ever seen. It was blue and black. She said it was hers when she had her first dance. She thought I should have it. I can't believe my mom wore it! In her days! 90's! Anyways I put it on and it fit perfect. She also had some black flats that went with it. I thanked my mom. Then she took me to the dance. Then there was the school it was decorated on the outside too. It had balloons and streamers all over it. Then my mom left. And I walked inside and went to the gym. Everyone was already there. There was a disco ball and Sally and Sam were dancing. She was wearing a red dress. I was looking around for Jack but didn't see him. I stood on the side of the gym. until Elizabeth came over. "Hey you okay?" She said. "Yeah I'm fine just looking around for Jack." I said Jack kinda soft. "Well I'm sure he's on his way, why don't we just dance!" Then Mary came as well. "Hey so are we all gonna dance or what?" Then I thought Jack will come I'm not gonna be the loser who waits for him to come. I'm gonna have some fun with my friends. We went in the middle of the dance floor. Sally joined and so did Shay. We had a blast. Then out of the corner of my eye I saw something that I wish I hadn't, it was Heather. She had a long pink dress. That had one sleeve. And it was covered in sparkles. And the worst part was Jack was next to her! They were talking. Why would he ever want to talk to that b**** I thought he asked ME to the dance not HER!!! Mary noticed I stopped dancing and saw what I was looking at. Then the whole group saw too. I was so mad I could feel my face turn red. I was so upset I ran past everyone and went straight to the bathroom. Thank gosh no one was in there. I went in a stall and was so mad at Heather. And Jack. I don't know who I was madder at... Then I heard someone come in and familiar voices. "Do you think she went in here?" Mary asked."I don't know but I hope so.." Sally said. "Renee you on here?" It was Elizabeth. I figured I better speak up. "Yeah but you guys saw who Jack was talking too." It was quiet for a while until Mary said " If you don't open this stall I'll break it open" I knew she would too. So I opened the stall. They could all see the water in my eyes. And I could feel them. Elizabeth said " come on just cause Jack and Heather were talking didn't mean anything let's forget about home for now and just have some fun!" And Elizabeth was right. I can still have fun without him right? So they managed to drag me out of the bathroom. We went on the dance floor and danced. Like we didn't care. Then a slow song came on. Oh great I thought. Sally and Sam danced. Mary an Zach danced. They were so cute. Al and Elizabeth danced. And Shay and Mack did. I was the only who didn't have a dance. And it didn't bother me. Okay so maybe it did... A little bit. Okay a lot. But I watched everyone else dance. Then I got a little tap on the shoulder. I turned around to find Jack. Yep Jack. And all I said was "Jack?" And he said "hey I didn't see you around," I thought probably because you were too busy talking to Heather. "Oh." I said. "So umm do you want to dance?" And I about melted. And I said.......
