Ali's pov-

"Mom I'm going out!" I yell down the hallway.

"No one cares, butthead," no, my mom didn't say that, my 12 year old sister Ashley did. All of my siblings names start with A. I am the second oldest out of 8. Andrew, my older brother is in college, YALE to be exact. I decided not to go to college so instead I work at a Taco Bell. The ages of our kids go like this, oldest to youngest, Andrew (male) : 20, Me (female) : 18 3/4, Anna (female) : 16, Avery (male) : 15, Alexander (male) : 14, Ashley (female) : 12, Aiden (male) : 9 and finally Aspen (female) : 7. Its a big family, I know. My parents are divorced so were all at Moms right now. Dad is always really busy, considering he is an extremely successful lawyer.

"Okay sweetie!" Mom calls back.

As I'm about to leave I feel a small hand tug on my hand. I look down and see Aspen.

"Can I come along, Ali?" she asks.

I bend down on my knees. "Next time, I promise," I say.

"Okay," She says happily, hugging me tightly. I let go and walk out of the door and hop on my skateboard. I ride down a few blocks until I finally reach the skate park, aka my second home. No one's there.

I go to the top of one slope and give myself a small push with my left foot. I go down and then to the other top. I grab the end of my right side and the skateboard grinds before going back to the start. I mix it up a little more until I get tired. I should ride to the park! I decide in my mind before getting back on my skateboard. I ride down the sidewalk until I suddenly feel my but come in contact with the ground and head to the stop sign pole.

"Ow Fuck," I mutter to myself.

"Oh my gosh are you okay?" I hear a male voice say. I nod my throbbing head. "I'm so sorry I didn't mean to," The guy says. He bends down next to me. "Here let me see it," he says. I remove my hands from my face and he looks at my injury and makes a weird face.

"Is it that bad?" I ask.

"No you're just so beautiful," he flirts and I blush and roll my eyes. "You are bleeding a little bit. I have stuff for that though," he says. He sits next to my on the pavement and pulls out a first aid kit from his small backpack. I let out a small giggle. "What's wrong?" he looks up.

"It's just the fact that you carry around a first aid kit all the time," I say before laughing. He laughs a bit. "Does your mommy make you carry it around?" I tease. He makes a fake pouty face. "Aw I bet she kisses all your boo-boo's too, huh?"

He makes a fake pouty face again. "Are you done yet?"

"Wait, one more," I say. "What are the band-aids? Hello Kitty?'"

"Haha, your so funny," he says sarcastically. I just giggle and he laughs before getting a gauze and tapping the side of my face. I stay quiet as he finishes cleaning it and then pulls out a sponge bob Band-Aid.
