4 - Good Girls

I woke up to find myself tucked into my bed at home. I rub my eyes and see a note on my bedside table. It read,

Hey Ali,

You may not remember but I brought you home last night. I ended up falling asleep in your bed and I just went out to get some things for a full day of Kian and Ali fun, ya know, the norm. I'll be back around 9 ish.

I smiled slightly and looked at my alarm clock. It was 8:52. 8 more minutes. I got up and walked into Anna's room and saw her tucked in as well. I smile. She was still sleeping so I decided not to wake her up. I walk down the hallway and into Aspen's room where I saw Aidan, my 9-year-old brother, playing dolls with her and I let out a small chuckle and they noticed me and smile.

"Hey cuties," I say and walk in to the room and sit on the ground with them.

"Hi Ali," Aspen says. She crawls into my arms and hugs me and so does Aidan. "Where were you last night?"

"I went to a party," I say.

"With who?" Aidan asks. "Was it that guy that brought you and Anna home last night?"

I nod.

"He was nice!" Aspen and Aidan say in sync.

I nod and grin. "Yeah he's great," I say.

"OOOOHH!" Aidan says.

"What?" I ask.

"YOU LOVE HIM!"

"What?! No I don't! He's just a friend!"

"Suuurrreee that's what they all say," Aidan teases. I roll my eyes and earn a giggle from Aspen.

"I'm gonna leave you two to play dollies," I drag out 'dollies' so Aidan gets annoyed before leaving the room and going across the hallway. Avery, Alex, and Ashley are all still sleeping so I decide to get ready since Mom's probably wanting to sleep in.

I go get changed into skinny jeans, a FOB Band T, classic b&w converse, and finally put my long dirty blonde hair into a messy high pony tail. I go look in the mirror and check if I look good but then I hear a voice in the back saying "You look perfect." I turn around to see Kian leaning against the door frame.

"Well hello to you too Kian," I say and he chuckles and smiles. "What are we doing today?" I ask.

"We are going to have a friendship day where we just drive around and do whatever."

Friends, exactly what I don't want to be with Kian.

I nod and smile it off. "An Alian day!"

"Wtf is Alian?" Kian asks while laughing.

"Its our name! Ali + Kian = Alian!" I manage to say in between laughs.

"You're truly insane," He teases. I giggle. "Lets go," Kian says, We walk out of the house and into his convertible. He opens the door for me. "For you my lady."

"Bitch I wanna drive!" I say in a sassy voice.

He laughs. "Well that's too bad because I'm taking you out, therefore I get to drive!" I huff out a dramatic 'fine' and get into the passenger seat. He gets in the driver's and starts the car.

"So where are we going?" I ask.

"That's for me to know and you to find out," He says. I groan in response. Finally we arrive at taco bell?
