So then I drown myself into work,
Trying not to overthink like I usually do.
Forgetting the pain from which I suffered.
Swimming through this ocean of paper
Staying up until dawn,
A ray of sunshine slowly appears,
Washing away my tears,
Letting out a yawn.
I let its warmth swarm me,
it reminds me of this tingly feeling,
when we were hugging.
Now i suddendly feel lonely.
They say time heals everything but i think it's a lie. Not all wounds heal completely.
Because today i regret letting go of you.
