The daytime is usually quiet. People do daydream, and that's when their minds are open enough for me to hop in for a quick visit. During the nights I visit my friends. I fight off nightmares. I tell Eternity I'm sorry, and he turns away in sorrow. I spend much time in Secrets' head, helping her with the nightmares, which are not always her own. I let Harper tell me what happened so that she would go so far as to try to do what she tired to do.
I am more faded than ever, but I will last long enough to make a difference.
My body is preserved as my mind wanders freely. I have trapped myself and though they hate it they keep my body alive using old methods from our planet.
I will stay as I am. I will wade in dreams and wrestle nightmares and shed light in the darkest corners of the loneliest mind of humans. Perhaps many years from now, when the others return to our planet and take me with them, the humans will tell stories of the girl with hair full of stars that made their dreams crisp, clear and glorious.
But she'll be but a faded dream.
The End
Please give me some feedback :) This is one of my shorter stories so it feels a little rushed to me... sorry 'bout that.
