"That will be 9 pound and 50 pence" the woman behind the till spoke, Kay scrunched up his brows he had a basket full of snacks and he didn't expect the total to be so cheap
"You've added tax or nah?" The man searched his pockets for his wallet still looking at her
"Tax is included on the item to create the total price" the woman laughed whilst smiling at him, Kay wondered why it wasn't like this in NYC he pulled out his card tapping it on the contactless machine, the woman bagged his snacks in a Tesco bag before handing it to him
"You look confused" Dougie laughed watching Kay walk away from the till and towards him, "I am nigga" the two men walked out of the store and back towards there hotel
"What time we meeting Russ" Kay questioned, whilst they walked down the quiet street, it was early in the morning so the streets were still very quiet they knew that would change soon
"I think him and his peoples gon be at the Stu at around 7 or sum I'll double check the text" The man pulled out his phone, they continued walking until they approached a zebra crossing
Kay believed that if you continuously press the button it would make the traffic lights turn red quicker so they could cross the street, he was obviously wrong once the green man showed which was an indicator they could cross, the two man walked down the street until they were finally face to face with their hotel
"Thank you" They both spoke in sync as the door was opened for them, they walked towards the lift pressing the buttons
"Aight make sure you ready at 6" Dougie looked over at Kay before putting his hand out to dap the man up, "Aight i needa catch up on sleep" Kay sighed loudly before walking down the hall way to his room, he indeed got his own room and was very grateful for his own space
He placed the bag of snacks on the desk, taking off all his clothes only having his boxers on, he got into the bed leaving his phone beside him before slowly shutting his eyes, the man tossed and turned until he was finally fast asleep
The man's alarm went off, it was now 5pm he slept like a dog but you can't blame him as he's been sleep deprived for days, the man stood up straight away not even bothering to press the snooze button, he walked straight to the bathroom to take another shower and freshen himself up as him and the group were going to the studio with other uk drill rappers
He stood in the mirror fixing the hoodie he had on before walking straight out his hotel room, he pulled his phone out from his back pocket whilst waiting for the elevator
