Lust and Horror had been together for a while now.
Although they have been keeping their relationship a secret from most skeletons, especially Nightmare.
Nightmare would most likely be pissed if he found out about this, knowing how strict he is about missions and other stuff. So Horror manages to sneak out to Underlust whenever Nightmare's busy or not paying attention so he could visit his boyfriend.
Lust owns a small cabin in the snowy woods where him and Horror can relax together without getting insulted or bashed by others. Lust loves whenever Horror visits, considering he always brings over a small, loving gift for Lust to unwrap each time. Each item is usually brought in a small gift box, always ready to be opened.

Horror decided today that he would try and go visit Lust, knowing that Nightmare would be extra busy today since him and the other members of the bad sanses have an important mission to do. He said that he wasn't feeling too good, and surprisingly, Nightmare let him stay back at the castle.

Strange, is it not?

A few minutes after all of the members had left, Horror wandered around the castle, making sure they actually had left. Dust and Killer usually stay back sometimes to prank him before they leave. Either that's just scaring him, or full on placing a bucket of water above his door. Luckily, Nightmare was urgent enough to make them all leave as fast as possible. And so, Horror had formed a portal right to Underlust.

"Lust!" A voice had called from outside of the cabin, followed by a gentle knock. Lust had been preparing a meal for him and Horror, and he hadn't expected him to show up so soon.
"Just a moment, darling!"
Lust swiftly tidied up the kitchen, not cleaning it completely but making it organized enough for it not to be messy.
He ran over to the door, swinging it open. As he did so, he was immediately met with a warm embrace, causing him to smile widely.
Horror had tackled him into a warm hug, giving him small kisses all over his
cheek.

"Pft, Horror! That tickles!" Lust giggled, wrapping his arms around Horror's neck as they pressed their teeth together with a clank.
"It feels so nice to be with you again." Horror sighed happily as he nuzzled his face into the crook of Lust's neck.
"Oh, I know. I've missed you, my moon." Lust whispered softly, placing a soft kiss on Horror's temple before pulling back slightly.
"I'm preparing some food right now. Would you like to help?" He looked up at Horror, smiling gently.
"Of course! You can open your gift after." Horror replied, holding a small gift box as they both walked into the cabin.

Horror placed the box on the coffee table. It was wrapped in beautiful strawberry red wrapping paper, having small yellow dots all over it. Lust absolutely adored the amount of love and effort put in each gift Horror brought.
Lust walked back into the kitchen, quickly checking up on all the food cooking on the stove, making sure none of it was burnt. As he did so, he felt something warm wrap around him from behind. He looked over his shoulder, seeing a contented Horror hugging him from behind. His arms were wrapped around Lust's waist, having his chin rest on his shoulder, watching him cook.
"Hello, my love." Lust giggled softly, turning his attention back to the stove as he felt Horror hug him.
"Mmh.. heeello..." Horror mumbled as he buried his face in Lust's shoulder, holding him close.
"It smells great, sunshine." He smiled, kissing Lust's shoulder tenderly as he watched him cook.
"Thank you, honey. I've made some steak just for you, I know how much you love it." Lust chuckled softly, reaching his arm up and over to gently pat Horror's head. Horror sighed softly in response, rubbing his head against his hand.

TIME SKIP

After a while, Horror and Lust were sat on the couch, both eating their food.
"Mmhhf.. it's amazing!" Horror exclaimed through a mouthful of food, chewing it happily as Lust watched him, chuckling quietly to himself.
Lust loved how warm and kind Horror acted towards him. Yeah, Horror is an insane axe murderer that likes to eat arms, but he acted so soft towards Lust and people he loved. And Lust admired that.
"Oh, right!" Horror reached down, grabbing the small gift box from the coffee table, handing it to Lust.
"For you, my sunshine." He winked.
Lust giggled, carefully taking the box from him, admiring it closely.
"Thank you, my moon." He smiled softly, gently unwrapping the paper.

Underneath the wrapping paper sat a small, black, velvet... ring box?
Lust's eye lights shrunk slightly. Was he seeing what he thought he saw?
He slowly opened the lid, revealing a beautiful golden ring, having small diamonds engraved into it as well as a big, shiny ruby on top.
"Is.. is this...?"
"I know this is pretty sudden, but uh.. I wanted to do something for you that wasn't too crazy and full on out, I hope that's okay. We've been together for a long time now, and..."

"Lust, will you...?"

Lust felt his soul skip a beat. Horror.. wants to marry him? Even if their relationship had to be kept secret?

"Horror, I..."
"I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't h-"

*CLANK*

Horror blinked, looking down to see his mouth against Lust's own, noticing that he had tears pricking in his eye sockets.
"Of course I'll marry you, you big dork!" Lust had tears of pure happiness rolling down his cheeks as he hugged Horror tightly.
Horror smiled softly, having small tears starting to form in his sockets as well as he whispered, "I love you, precious."
