Ever since I was 15 I have been working at a local coffee shop that is owned by my friends mom. It always was a calming place that would help me when I'm stressed. I stick to the simple stuff however as what's the point in even trying to do latte art when the person destroys it in a second.

I go to the coffee grinder and started to crush the coffee beans. I look up to see the prettiest boy ever, William Byers.

"Hi! How do you brew? You know just forgot I said that. That was really cringey. Anyway uh so I'm so sorry I might've not been able to answer your calls or texts that much. My mom getting sicker so I have to work extra hours to try and get more money for her hospital bills. I know this isn't the best place to talk, but Max toke my shift and it was a perfect opportunity." Wills said looking directly at me, with full eye contact.

"I love the way you espresso yourself." I said while he started to giggle.

"Hey! Dustin can I have my break now! It's important!"

"It's the busiest hour!"

"Thanks!"

I grab his hand and walk to table,

" Sorry I had too, anyway want a coffee? You seem stressed?" I said, he looked up at me with the pretty hazel eye burning  into my soul....

"No no! You don't have to do that just by one for yourself I don't want to waste your money."

"Ok so thats a yes so what do you want?"

"Ugh your mocha me crazy. Whatever no sugar as you are already too sweet for me, so just a hot black coffee. Just make sure it's not hotter than you." He did that all with full eye contact. I think I might just fall right now.

"That's a new record. Three puns in three sentences that's hard to beat."

I walk back over behind the counter and crush the coffee grinds then that's mostly it except for the obvious coffee part.

I grab money out of my tip jar and put it in the cash register for his drink. He's lucky that I like him so much. I wrap my hands around the coffee that was supposed to be a black coffee, but that's boring and I know he likes flowers so I just got him the lavender and honey latte.

"Hey what you're drawing."

His head swings up surprised as I guess he didn't hear me. He toke his arm and wrapped it around his sketchbook.

" Wait in see and stop being so impatient. Wait. Why does the coffee look like that. WHY IS IT LABELED HONEY LAVENDER."

"Hey black coffee is boring and I know you love flowers sooooo."

"Just because I like flowers doesn't mean I like to drink the- never mind it's kinda good but! That doesn't me it right to judge me as a flower."

"Oh whatever I worked hard grinding those coffee beans and they only reminded me of how much I have bean thinking about you."

"Omg this has gotten out of hand. But thankyou for the drink it's quite delightful. I don't have any money to spare and I feel bad just leaving you empty handed so hears a little something."

He hands me a drawing with many details.... of me?!

I look up to see him headed out the door and walking to his flower shop across the street.

" I feel something brewing between you guys."

I look up to see Dustin giggling with his weird little cackle.

" Oh shut up..Wait have you been listening this whole time?!"

"What! That's a price you have to pay when you bail out in rush hour."
