Morning
"Mom. Dad. Miguel. Come downstairs." I whisper to each of them.
They all come downstairs with sleepy faces.
"I'm going to propose to her today." I whisper.
They all gasp.
"But shhhhh....I have a new place and bought a lot of things. It's already settled. But I need you to distract her." I tell my parents.
They nod.
"Miguel let's go buy mommy some balloons and roses." I whisper to him and he nods.
We head to many different stores buying roses and heart balloons.
We go back to the apartment and set everything up.
"Now let's pick a ring for mommy." I tell Miguel and he gets excited.
We quickly go find a ring.
"I think mommy would like a shiny one." Miguel says and I agree.
Miguel finally picks one out.

"This one dad." He shows me the ring.
"Yes! This one is beautiful!" I pay and put it in a red box.
I go to the new apartment and make a heart with rose pedals and candles with the words
will you marry me?
In the backyard. I fill the table with gifts.
Done!
We head back home.
"Act normal." I say to Miguel and he giggles.
"Where have you guys been?" Lisa comes downstairs with Cindy.
"Oh nothing. He wanted me to take him to get some new toys, but they were all out." I say.
She nods.
"Honey come with me somewhere. Let my parents take care of Miguel and Cindy." I grin.
She nods and leaves with me.
"Where are we going baby?" She asks.
"It's a surprise honey." I wink at her.
She blushes.
We get to the new apartment.
"Close your eyes." I tell her and she covers her eyes.
I guide her inside.
"Open your eyes." I tell her and she listens.
She gasps.
"Baby...it's beautiful!" She smiles.
I take her to the backyard and she sees the message.
I kneel behind her and open the box.
"W-What is th-" she turns around and sees me kneeled with the ring.
She tears up and nods.
"Yes I will!" She hugs me tightly.
"Thank you for making me the happiest man in the world." I tear up and put the ring on her finger.
"I love you." I say to her.
She gives me a kiss.
"I love you too."
