What do I do..

It's been weeks since that incident. I've been avoiding her as much as possible.

I don't know what to do...I don't want to fall in love..

"Here you go Boss." She says without looking and goes back to her seat.

"Hey we ha-" before I can finish she gets a call.

"Hello? Mom? What's wrong!?" She says concerned.

Suddenly her eyes widen and she runs out.

After a while she comes back with her son crying.

"Shh shhh mommy is here baby.." she sweetly says.

"Mis Gómez..this is not a playground!" I say seriously.

"I don't have anyone else to come take care of him..only my mother and she is at the hospital right now.." she says with tears.

I get soft.

"Why can't his father take care of him??" I say curiously.

"H-He isn't in my son's l-life or mine.." she says hesitantly.

She is hiding something from me..

"Are you hiding something from me? Why did you hesitate?" I ask.

She stays quiet.

Hmm why won't she tell me??

"Why are you quiet? Tell me." I ask impatiently.

She shakes her head no so I let it go.

"Get back to work then." I say coldly and she nods.

Suddenly her kid comes to me and sits on my lap.

"Can you play with me mister?" He says with a warm smile.

Him looking at me made me feel soft.

Why do I feel a connection with this kid??

"S-Sure..what do you wanna play..?" I ask nicely.

He shows me the toys and I play with him.

This feels so nice...

I notice her giggle from afar.

"Don't look and work." I say playfully.

She nods and keeps giggling.

"He reminds me of my childhood.." I say smiling.

He has my eyes..

He runs and hugs me.

"D-Daddy.." he says excitedly.
