More Chitauri come from the portal above drawing our attention. "Call it Captain." Tony says from the position next to Steve.
Steve is quick to take charge and begin his orders. "Listen up. Until we can close that portal our priority is containment." He looks behind him at my dad. "Barton, I want you on that roof. Eyes on everything. Call out patterns and strays."
"Stark you got a perimeter." He commands. "Anything gets more than three blocks out, you turn it back, or you turn it to ash."
My dad looks to Tony asking for a lift up to the building which Tony obliges. "Better clench up, Legolas." He says to my dad. "What about you Bullseye, you need a lift up."
"Thanks but I have my own way up." I respond, my eyes glazing soft blue.
"Not so fast Anja, I got another job for you, just hang on." He tells me, going back to giving orders as Tony flies my dad up to the roof.
"Thor, you have to try and bottleneck that portal, slow em down. You got the lightning. Light the bastards up." Thor swings his hammer around using the force to fly into the air.
"You and me," he says, referring to Auntie Nat. "We stay here on the ground. Keep fighting here, and hulk..." He pauses turning to look at Bruce in his angry green form. "Smash."
Hulk smiles jumping into the air leaving just the three of us remaining. "What about me?" I ask him.
"Go home," he says.
"What!" I shout at him. "You need me." My aunt nods her head from next to Steve agreeing with me.
"She's got the power." Auntie Nat comments.
"I'm sorry Anja, you're a liability when it comes to Loki, he is your father, and your weakness."
"What you're forgetting is that I'm his weakness too. Exploit it." I told him.
He looks over at my auntie Nat who shakes her head agreeing with me. "Fine. go high, keep a look out. If you see anyone on our side struggling, give em a leg up. Oh, and if Loki comes, kick his ass."
I plaster a big smile on my face, giving a cute little salute before using my powers to push me up to Stark towers. Across from me on the Empire State Building, Thor summons his lightning to make the whole top of the building surround in lightning. He aims the force at the top of the portal killing several members of the Chitauri.
From the buildings down the street I can see my dad shooting arrows at the aliens. He looked to be running low on his arrows so I decided to do a little magic of my own.
Dad fires an arrow at the Chitauri, and I focus on the arrow allowing my eyes to glow a bright shade of blue as the same blue color surrounds the arrow, sending it quickly in every direction taking out several of the aliens in a row.
"I don't think I'll ever get used to that." My dad says laughing through his comm which causes me to let out a little giggle as well.
I turn my attention back to the ground where I see my Aunt fighting off several Chitauri with some blood coming from her forehead. I drop down right as she takes out one of the aliens with their own weapon, she turns aiming the weapon at me but drops it when she realizes it's only me.
"Anja Faye, thank god!" She exclaims dropping the alien weapon and wrapping her arms around me in a hug before Steve grabs her attention.
"None of this is gonna mean a damn thing if we don't close that portal." She tells him.
"Our biggest guns couldn't touch it."
"Well maybe it's not about guns." She says hopefully, both her and Steve turning to face me.
