𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑰𝑰𝑰 | 𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑩𝒐𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒏

The group started to sneak out of Boston via the sewer, Joel started to open the sewer and let the girls out first (also helped Cain out). Ellie was the last to step out, she looked around her surrounds with a chuckle "Holy shit. I'm actually outside." She exclaimed.

"Ellie." Rosalie warned her, pulling her down while Ellie said "Oh shit." As the light from the military started to shine towards the group. "Okay, we're gonna take the left edge around the buffer zone. You stay close and you follow my lead." Tess whispered to Ellie who nodded in agreement.

The group started to sneak out through the school bus, they hide at every corner of the junkyard. Trying to avoid being detected by FEDRA, they manage to do so and manage to get out of Boston. But, they manage to find a FEDRA military, taking a bathroom break. "Hey, hey! Don't, don't, don't move." The group raised their hands up in surrender while Cain let out a growl at the FEDRA man, being taught by Rosalie that FEDRA were enemies.

The FEDRA man lifted his helmet shield up as his eyes met Joel and Tess, "You gotta be shittin' me."

"You know this man?" Rosalie questioned Joel, the man didn't respond as his eyes were on the FEDRA man. Rosalie scoffed "Of course you do."

"Okay, let's talk this out." Tess told him.

"Turn around." The man ordered.

"Hold on-" Joel started but FEDRA man cuts him off while yelling "Get on your fuckin' knees."

"Now hold on-"

"What did I fuckin' tell you, man? I said stay the fuck home." The FEDRA warned him. "Get on your knees!" He ordered them again.

"Just get on your knees, just get on your knees." Tess told the others, they did what they're told while Tess tried to reconsider the FEDRA man. The group started to place their hands behind their heads as the FEDRA man scanned them for any sign of infection. Which started to worry Rosalie as she knew that Ellie was infected, knew that this man will kill her if that scanner turns red.

By the time the man started to scan Ellie, she pulled out her knife and stabbed the man by his leg. Causing him to lose his balance, perfect for Cain to attack the man by his arm. The FEDRA man toss the dog off of him, Rosalie ran over towards the girls.

Just when the FEDRA man pointed his gun at her, Joel shielded himself over Rosalie and the girls. "Get out of the fuckin' way!" He ordered Joel.

"Whoa, whoa! We can fix this." Joel tried to calm the FEDRA man down, like he was trying to calm a spooked horse.

"Move!" The FEDRA men ordered Joel, but the smuggler didn't move. "Move!" He ordered again.

Then, Joel pounced on the FEDRA man like a predator to a prey and started to beat the man until he was a pulp. Rosalie watched Joel continue to beat the man, her eyes were transfixed on him. She couldn't believe that this man saved her from having her head blew out by FEDRA, she was....enraptured by him.
