-Cal's p.o.v-

"Still alive in there?" Cere's voice came in over comms.

"So far." Cal replied as he climbed up a grate to get onto a ledge. "Almost to the prison."

"Good. Imperial distress calls are going out across the planet. If you don't get the prisoners soon..." She said, a worried tone to her voice.

"We can do this. I promise. Besides, Y/n's on her way here to help." Cal said.

"No... Y/n's here on the ship." Cere told him, confusion evident in her voice.

"Wait, what? You didn't know?" Cal panicked.

"Greez, is Y/n in her room?" Cere asked.

"Ah, crap! She's not here!" Greez called over a moment later.

"I'm sorry, Cere! She said she was fine!" Cal began to freak out. Now you were going to get yourself even more hurt because of him.

"She tricked me." Cal felt slightly hurt at the prospect, but was more worried about you getting injured.

"That makes two of us..." Cere grumbled.

"Well, what do I do? Should I go find her, or-" Cal started.

"No. There's not enough time. Go help the wookiees. She'll come to you. Do not let yourself get distracted, Cal." Cere instructed.

"You're right. Okay. Sorry again, Cere." Cal finished before continuing on his path, trying not to think about you.

-your p.o.v-

You let the force guide you through the vents. Master Odorah had drilled it into your brain to always trust the force, no matter the circumstance.

You finally came to a spot in which two troopers stood at their posts below you. You were able to quietly lift the grate and drop down behind them, activating your lightsaber, killing them both before either could utter a word.

Behind you, you heard the sound of another lightsaber deactivating.

You turned and saw Cal, who had probably planned to take out the troopers as well.

"Look's like I beat you to it." You smirked.

"Yep." He answered, walking past you, continuing down the corridor. You sensed some anger behind his tone and in his body language.

You rushed to keep up with his fast-paced walking.

"What's wrong?" You asked.

BD-1 quickly informed you that both he and Cere became aware of your hoax. Cal said nothing.

You sighed.

"Look, I'm really sorry. But Cere doesn't get it. I feel perfectly fine. You have to trust me!" You begged as the two of you turned a corner.

"Hey! Stop right there!" A trooper fired his blaster down the hall at you two, Cal simply ignighted his lightsaber, deflecting the blast back at the trooper, causing him to drop dead.

"You tricked me, Y/n. That doesn't seem very trustworthy to me." Cal replied.

BD whistled at you apologetically, causing Cal to shoot him a quick glare.

"I just wanted to-" You began.

"We don't have time for this right now. We can talk about this later, okay?" He said irritated.

You felt horrible and almost regretted your decision to leave the ship.

Neither of you talked the rest of the way, but it didn't take much longer, only a few troopers to eliminate along the way.
