Breaking Walls with the Beta {Book 1}

Chapter-its just the beginning

Sitting down as my hair was pulled and tugged. Sellia was currently adding flowers to her braided hair. her hand combing at the roots. Smiling she spoke "Your roots are growing back. Soon you're going to have to re-dye it. What color this time? Maybe a nice purple." selia continued talking, As she adding little jewels into her braids.

"No. I think, I think I want to grow it back." I told her fingering the gentle material of the dress I was wearing. It was a beautiful dress my mother had been saving for years. she kept it in a little carved wooden box, on top of her dresser.the train flowed around me creating waves when I walked or the wind shifted. the bodice was lined with blue and silver jewels. trailing up as off shoulder sleeves. then way Sellia had did my hair made me feel as a true daughter of the moon.

Sellia looked as she turned me around.

"It's time."

The pack meeting, the beginning of my story. the first chapter. I got feeling the carpet under my bare feet. I walked as gracefully as I could out of Sellia rooms. the ceremony was being held in the meadow of the fight. it was my idea to honor the dead. in the way of showing life and peacefulness. Feeling the grass as we walked out, my eyes training of alpha Thomas. Next to him was Gavin, who smiling with a glint in his eye of love. The smile on his face grew as I got up on stage.

As the rest of the pack got here in took seats it got louder and louder. Alpha making sure the entire pack was here then clapped once. it resounded off the trees making the crowd quiet down quickly.

"Pack, Today we are going to witness the joining of mates. but also grieve and pray to all those that had sacrificed their lives to let these two be togther. " Motioning to us, I slowly walked up.

"let's all give a moment of quiet. " A few mintues it was quiet as families grieved there lost ones. even if they died in battle this week or years ago. The entire pack was silent,but the moon was starting to come out. alpha Thomas came back up to start the official matting ceremony.

"Now I want all The mated Females and Males to come up and surround the two." chair were rustled and childern were handed to sibling. as the all got deprecating and surrounding the mates. watching as many different women surrounded me. giving words of wisdom and advice. Looking up the moon was full and round.

"Now ladies and gentlemen please can you give our betas their ropes. " He announced. a young girl with corn yellow hair came up into my view. she held a small red rope, it was more of a string then anything. I went to grab it. but an older woman who looked to be someone grandmother, walked my hand. I rubbed my hand feeling the sorness.

The yellow haired girl voice was quiet but I could hear her. " may I please have your wrist." I was confuse but I stuck out my wrist none the less. She gently tied the rope to it forming a small but efficient knot. Shuffling aw heard around me. the ladies started to form a small straight past. as soon as I took a step forward the ladies blocked my way back so I was forced to keep going. at one point I was met with both men and woman. it was a big wall. then someone came up behind me, my vision going black. I felt around toward my face to feel a silky clothe. Simone blindfolded me.

"Luna this is a simple task. You must Find your mate and tie the other half of the rope to his wrist." Ftee the word left his mouth someone pushed me and I span to firguer out who it was by sent. but it set me off course and confused. there was so many scents it was overwhelming. but a gut feeling told me to turn to left. to keep walking. Kiara also filled my head encouraging to use all my senses.

I took a right my hands were out in front of me touching the wall of bodies. my hand grasped a wrist.

No I shook my head this wasn't gavin. his is more slender. my hand grasped another hand. this one had a ring. no this one. I turned around grabbing a Third arm. there was muscle here, my hand moving down. a cough was heard in the distance. but I started here heavy breathing. I turned more to my left on the darkness feeling out. above why I think were head to feel the breath. I kept walking, stoping. I didn't need to feel this one. I grabbed their hand grabbing the string and tying.

I was suddenly lifted and twirled in the air. my blindfold flopping so I can see a peak of who if was. the soft floppy brown hair. and instantly knew I had found gavin. he kissed me as the bodies parted and went back to their loved ones.

Thomas voice filled the room at our happines.

"The red sting of fate symbolizes that you can never be separated no matter how long or far you guys are away from eachother. the true meaning of your undying love. PACK LETS RUN" Yelling the end as he shifted running into the forest. Gavin howled into the air shifting I was following after him. his wolf golden and handsome. But we were still teenagers and this was only the beginning.
