Chapter 9- Christmas
Jason’s POV
I slowly opened my eyes and smiled when I was looking right into Matty’s gorgeous face. He looked so peaceful, so soft... his eyes gently shut... his lips puckered slightly... God he’s amazing...
I bit my lip softly as I watched him for a good half an hour, I didn’t want to wake him, he looked too perfect. I gently moved and grabbed my iPhone from the bed side table and silently took a picture of his sleeping face.
A small grin played on my lips when I sent the photo to my roommates with the caption, “My boyfriend is perfect.”
Ignoring the replies I got about doing dirty things to him in his sleep I shoved my phone under the pillow and cuddled in closer to Matt, loving the warmth that radiated from his body. I put my face into his chest, my nose brushing lightly against his muscular body, as I breathed his intoxicating scent wafted in and out of my lungs.
I could hear movement downstairs so I figured the twins had finally woken up mom and dad, soon enough they’d run up the stairs and jump on to the bed screaming.
“JASON, MATT WAKE UP ITS CHRISTMAS!” I heard Jamie shout before she landed on the bed.
I groaned. “We’ll be done in a bit.” I told her pushing her with my foot.
“If you aren’t down in ten minutes we will come back!” She giggled running back down stairs.
I rolled over and kissed Matt’s puckered lips. “Wakey wakey babe.” I murmured. His eyes fluttered open and he smiled at me. “Merry Christmas.” I smiled back.
“Merry Christmas to you too.” He said in his husky morning voice.
We got out of bed and didn’t bother showering, we each pulled on a pair of pajama pants and t shirts, I made my way into the bathroom and quickly brushed my teeth, Matt pressed his chest against my back and nuzzled his nose into my neck. “I’m still sleepy.” He whined.
“Cons of having young siblings.” I told him spitting out the toothpaste. I turned so we faced each other. “I hope you like your present.” I smiled.
“I woke up with you beside me this morning, I don’t think anything is better than that.” He told me, his voice still husky.
I smiled and kissed him softly. “That is the sweetest thing someone has ever said to me.” I told him before pecking his lips again. “Now brush your teeth, we have presents to open.” I walked down the stairs.
I walked into the living room and took a look at the picture in front of me. The tree stood nearly to the ceiling, and it was covered in sparkling lights, ornaments and decorations, under it there was thirty or so boxes, mostly for the girls I figured.
I felt a hand on the small of my back and turned to see Matt, he smiled at me and sat in the love seat together. “Are we finally ready to open presents?” Mom asked me. I smiled and nodded, lacing my fingers with Matt’s as the twins cheered. “Stockings first!” She smiled as she stood and passed out one to everyone, including Matt.
