Matt's POV

I sat at Mama's Little Coffee Shop, waiting patiently for Jason to show up.

I looked at my watch. 11:04. "He's late..." I sighed.

"Only four minutes and you call that late?" A familiar voice asked from behind me. I turned to see Jason standing behind me.

Slung over his shoulder was a black backpack, he was wearing a long sleeved baby blue shirt with the sleeves pushed up to his elbows, black skinny jeans and the same black and white high tops.

"I guess I can forgive you this one time." I told him. "Please sit." I said.

"Sorry I am late though, this place isn't exactly easy to find." He told me sitting down and putting his backpack by the leg of the table.

"That's why I adore it though, there isn't ever a line." I told him, he just sat there listening as I rambled on for a good fifteen minutes. "I'm sorry, I should let you talk..." I blushed, noticing that he hadn't said anything for a while.

He smiled sweetly. "I don't mind, your very easy to listen to." He told me, a slight blush came to both our cheeks as the waitress brought us our coffee.

"So what kind of classes do you take?" He asked me after the waitress left us.

"Art classes like drawing and painting, design classes from different fields, history of fashion... Stuff like that." I told him. "What about you?"

"Meh, a lot of new media work, photo analysis classes, photography history, camera history, camera basics, that kind of thing." He said with a shrug sipping his coffee.

"That's cool." I smiled. "Are you from New York originally?"

"No, I moved here from Wisconsin, what about you?"

"My mother lives outside of the city on an acreage, that's where I grew up... Unfortunately." I told him.

"Unfortunately?" He asked raising his eyebrow questioningly.

"My mother and I aren't exactly on the best terms... It has something to do with me being gay and wanting to be a fashion designer." I told him shrugging my shoulders.

"Oh... That's not exactly what a parent's suppose to do." He told me with an awkward chuckle.

"Do your parents accept you?" I asked him.

"Umm... It's a touchy subject because I haven't actually told them..." He told me wincing slightly.

I smiled softly, he was too damn cute. "Trust me when I say you feel so much better when you do." I told him, putting my hand onto his, which made him beam and blush simultaneously. "Do you want to go for a walk through Central Park?" I asked him. "It's only a couple of blocks away."

Jason's POV

"That sounds delightful." I told him standing, before I could even say anything else he had paid for our coffee. "Hey!" I pouted at him. "I was gonna pay."

"Next time how about." He grinned at me, holding out the crook of his elbow to me. I threw my bag over my shoulders and looped my arm through his as we walked towards Central Park, the cold November wind nipped at my skin as we walked. It wasn't uncomfortable or anything, it was just the climate changing from autumn to winter.
