A/N first fic of the year ! no kaeya dead parents jokes pls it doesnt even make me crack a smile

Other ends of the sofa is where they sat, looking as normal and friendly as possible until Albedo's mother left. He trusted his mother a lot, although he wasn't ready to let her in on the fact that Albedo and Kaeya were a thing.

They had been dating for about two months at this point, they were both awkward teenagers who had only gone as far as kissing - it was obvious they were ready to move on to bigger things, they just weren't sure when.

They were at Kaeya's house currently, Alice in the other room speaking with Kaeya's parents.

It started with them watching a nature documentary, Albedo squealing over the cute animals as Kaeya smiled and flickered his eyes between his boyfriend and the television. 

"Your Netflix recommendations are boring... Where are the good movies? Like legally blonde and mean girls?" Albedo spoke, his eyes narrowing at the hundreds of dark documentaries - the only documentaries he liked to watch personally were ones about science and alchemy.

"I don't watch those types of movies," Kaeya grinned, finding Albedo's judgement amusing, "Do you like this series?" He was referring to the current video they were watching.

"Yeah, it makes me want to own a baby lion, though. So fluffy."

They giggled until they heard Albedo's mother walking towards the room, Albedo stood up and met her in the door way. Kaeya's parents stood there as well, as they had just talked to Alice in the other room, they all seemed to get along perfectly.

"Albedo, I'm leaving now. Call me if anything happens." Alice spoke, Albedo nodded although didn't move. "Going all teenager on me?" She sighed.

Albedo shook his head, laughing as he stepped forward to embrace his mother in a hug. She laughed, pulled back and waved. "Have fun!"

And with that, Albedo and Kaeya watched the rest of the episode, as soon as the credits rolled Kaeya turned to Albedo, they hadn't made any move to close any type of distance between them yet, "Wanna head to my room?"

"Yeah."

Albedo took his backpack with him, they entered Kaeya's room.

At first Albedo tried finding a place to put his stuff, although when he turned around and saw Kaeya's inviting arms open requesting a hug, Albedo dropped his bag and stepped forward.

Hugging Kaeya was one of the most comforting things ever, he was warm and smelt great, and he'd plant small kisses on Albedo's head and down his neck. With their height difference, Albedo's face fit snugly just above his chest, he sighed and tightened his hold, not wanting to let go.

Even after dating for two months, Albedo was still pretty new to relationships and was shy when it came to things like kissing, when he looked up and saw Kaeya leaning in, he panicked and quickly hid his face into the boys shoulder.

Kaeya laughed it off, walking backwards slightly with Albedo still latched onto him, he whispered into his ear: "You can sit on my lap, if you'd like." 

And with that, Albedo found himself comfortably sitting on Kaeya's lap on his bed, he continued to hug Kaeya and with this he could now look down on him, instead of always feeling tiny around his boyfriend. He saw Kaeya leaning in again, and once again Albedo panicked, moving his face backwards with a shocked expression on his face.

It's not like he didn't want to kiss him, Albedo was just incredibly shy and nervous. He wasn't used to romance and intimacy.

He swerved Kaeya one more time, which resulted in a hand sliding comfortably on his left cheek to encouragingly push his face forward, he made eye contact and finally leaned in.
