Celeste Yang
Celeste sighed as she balled up the bland drawing throwing it in the trash, she placed her head in her hands annoyed by the creative block she has had for the past week. She heard a chuckle come from her best friend Imani and rolled her eyes lifting her head up.
"Bitch ain't shit funny, I need to come up with a design for this client coming in tomorrow." She groaned taking a sip of her water.
"What does she want?" Imani asked.
"She said she wanted a chinese dragon." She said.
"Hm." Imani thought as she sat back.
"Do something different then the original piece, don't just do a simple chinese dragon you know." Imani suggested.
"No shit mani why do you think I'm having a hard time with the drawing, if I wanted to just get it out the way I would just draw a regular ass chinese dragon." She mumbled.
Imani rolled her eyes and tossed a pillow at her head.
"Bitch fuck you, that's why I'm going to popeyes without you." Imani scuffed grabbing her jacket.
"Wait for me." Celeste chuckled tossing her pencil on the desk and standing up.
Imani laughed as she felt Celeste lock her arms under hers, They closed the shop before walking down the Las Vegas strip.
"Can you believe it's almost been a year since we opened the shop?" Imani asked.
"No I actually can't." Celeste chuckled.
"Ughh how times have changed." Imani laughed opening the door and holding it for her.
"Yes how they have." Celeste mumbled walking inside.
"Hey ladies, the usual?"
"Yes please." Imani smiled.
"Hey Melinda, How's the healing process?" Celeste asked.
"Still sore but I love it." Melinda smiled handing Imani the receipt.
Celeste smiled before sitting down, Imani sat across from Celeste and began scrolling on her phone. Celeste also pulled out her phone and began scrolling through her social media, she checked on there business page and smiled at the interactions it was getting. She was happy that she and Imani finally opened there shop, they've been friends since diapers. They're parents were best friends so they never were apart, they did everything together.
"Have you talk to mommy?" She asked.
"Yeah I talk to her yesterday." Celeste said as she took a bite of her food.
Imani licked the chicken grease off of her lips and nodded.
"Why?" Celeste asked.
"Just wondering." Imani said.
Celeste nodded as they finished their food and headed back to the shop, once they made it back they realized it was getting late.
