Percy woke up to the sound of the camp's horns blaring. Suddenly, Leo rushed into his cabin.
"Percy, we've got a problem." Said Leo.
"What now?" Asked Percy.
"Well, two cyclopes and about a dozen dracanae just broke into the camp."said Leo.
"Did they have to choose this morning to attack?"said Percy.
"Why don't you go ask them yourself?"replied Leo.
"I'll meet you in the armour room."said Percy
"OK"Leo said. "But don't take too long 'cause those monsters aren't gonna kill themselves."
"They just might after I arrive"said Percy.
Leo smirked and left the cabin.
Ever since the Golden Fleece had somehow gotten stolen, monsters have just been paying visits to the camp almost everyday. Two campers from the Apollo cabin have already been sent on a quest to look for the Golden Fleece but no news have been heard from them in the past week. Chiron had even been thinking about sending two more campers, but, King of the gods, Zeus won't allow it.
Percy got up and went out of cabin only to wish he hadn't.
The camp was full of monsters and the demigods were doing everything they could to keep them at bay.
He scanned the battlefield for Leo and found him trying to set a telkhine on fire with his powers.
"I thought you said the monsters were just a few!"yelled Percy.
"I did, but a lot more arrived while you were waking up from your beauty sleep!" Leo yelled back and did a backflip as he succeeded in setting the telkhine on fire and it was now screaming, running towards the lake.
Before it reached the lake, thunder rumbled and a lightning bolt fried it to monster dust.
"Jason." Leo and Percy said in unison.
They both quickly spun around when the heard a girl scream. A cyclope had hit her on her head with a club and she had curled up into a foetal position on the heard ground, holding her head.
The cyclope laughed and prepared to hit her again when a blast of water, fire and lightning hit it in the face.
"Bulls eye!" Yelled Leo
Percy quickly sprinted to the girl.
"She's out" said Percy.
"Take her to the big house" Jason said.
Percy lifted the body and carried it to the big house.
Around them the battle still raged.
Just then a blast of light shone on all the monsters and demigods. The demigods averted their faces whiles the monsters began disintegrating. Soon the only things left of the monsters were their weapons and armours.
Then Percy came running up to them.
"No fair! You defeated the army without me!" Whined Percy.
"Actually we didn't do anything" Jason said
"Oh" said Percy
"But he did" said Leo pointing in the direction of where the light had come from.
A man wearing a Hawaiian shirt and khaki shorts with a fishing rod was standing there looking agitated.
"Oh hi dad" said Percy "What brings you to our humble home?"
Poseidon looked around at the overturned tables, burnt trees and injured demigods and said:"Wow nice place you got here. Its very um.....clean?"
Annabeth and Piper rushed over to them.
"Lord Poseidon" Piper curtsied. "What brings you to our hu-"
"Been through that already thank you" interrupted Poseidon. "I am here with news from Zeus"
"What does old thunderface want know?" Leo muttered
The sky rumbled
"Watch your tongue boy" said Poseidon, his tone clearly increasing. "Lord Zeus wishes that the seven from the prophecy shall go and look for the golden fleece and return it to camp half blood safe and sound by the end of the summer solstice."
Everyone was quiet for a few minutes then leo spoke up.
"So what happens if we fail to bring the fleece back?"
"That is for you to find out" said Poseidon as he changed into water and vanished.
"So the guy wants us to fail?" Asked Percy
"Don't look at me. I'm as clueless as the next guy" said jason. "I'd better go and bring hazel and Frank so we can think this through together"
"Good idea" mumbled Annabeth. They could all tell she was deep in thought.
Once Jason had flown away they all started walking towards the big house. Once inside, they saw Chiron talking with the girl that had been hit in the head with a club.
She was a daughter of Demeter and she was trying to grow some vines around a telkhine when the Cyclops hit her head.Guys I have to study for this huge test we're having this week so the next update might come after the test. Sorry for the inconvenience.
And like I say: Nana is ma name writing is ma game. Peace out. Finally I'm done with the test but I need a bit more ideas so I'm asking my very good friends, Afrah and Vera to help me out.Peace
Piper
It all happened so fast. One minute I was helping Annabeth design a cabin for Nemisis, the goddess of revenge, when the camp's horns blared. We rushed outside and saw a lot of monsters then we heard a girl scream and saw a combo of water, fire and lightning hit something, then the next minute, a bright light shone and the god of the sea, told us something about the seven finding the golden fleece. And I kinda zoned out afterwards.Inside the big house, the girl was sitting on a couch with bandages on her head.
"How are you feeling?" asked Chiron
"I'm feeling a bit better now." she said
"Can you tell me exactly what happened?"
"Yeah, i think so.... i was trying to grow some vines around a telkhine who was trying to cut down the tree the golden fleece used to hang on" she said and slumped back into the chair.
Chiron noticed making her try to remember what happened was draining her of the little energy she had.
"You can rest for now" said Chiron
We all left the girl in the big house and went outside. Outside demigods were treating their wounds and going back to their regular camp activities.
