Musiq Soulchild - Love
"Only two more sleeps until your birthday." Kyren giddily announced, causing Allure to lightly snicker. She used her free hand and gently placed it on his face. As always she looked at him in admiration. "Your goatee turning red—beard too." She spoke as she began to gently stroke his beard. It was always clean and moisturized.
"Cause you keep sitting on it." Kyren chuckled, causing Allure to do the same. "Well say thank you, cause it's cute." Allure replied, lightly squeezing his cheek. The two laid in the bed, moments before going to sleep just casually talking as they always did. "Pillow talk" as some would call it. In the midst of talking, Avi's babbles sounded through the baby monitor, catching their attention.
"You ever just sit back and think like—we really parents." Kyren announced.
"I know." Allure smiled, "Let's go get her." She added as she slid out the bed and pushed her feet into her slippers. The couple headed out the master bedroom and up the stairs to their daughter's room. Their baby girl was all smiles once she laid eyes on her parents, she stood up in her crib and began to subtly bounce up and down.
"This girl run off batteries or something." Allure laughed as they approached the crib, she had a fresh bottle and bath so she figured Chunk was fighting her sleep. "Dada." Avi babbled, causing Allure and Kyren to look at each other.
"Did you just say Dada?" Kyren exclaimed as he picked her up and tossed her around before he kissed her face, "Say it again." He spoke, lightly rubbing her stomach. Chunk smiled before burying her head into his chest.
"Say mama." Allure instructed, Avi shook her head no. Allure's mouth slightly gapped open before she laughed. "Girl don't do that—I'm the one with the breast milk." She spoke, playfully pouting.
"I wish we got it on the camcorder." Allure added, she could tell Kyren was in his own world—having that proud father moment, which made her happy as well. "It's alright, I'll still never forget it." He replied with a big smile on his face.

Allure pulled her parking pass out of her purse while she waited for the elevator to open up. The cold winter breeze hit her body making her shiver. January and February were always the coldest months in Texas, she knew they'd probably be experiencing some snow come next month. She zipped her Moncler coat all the way up to subside the cold breeze hitting her body. When she looked up again, the elevator had opened up and she stepped on.
Once she arrived to her designated floor she hopped in the car and wasted no time turning on her heat, she slipped out of her coat and fastened her seatbelt. Her ringer loudly sounded through the car, she reached over and turned it down before answering the call.
"You done Bae?" Kyren questioned. Allure was leaving her second therapy session, her first one was last week and they planned to meet every Tuesday. "Yeah, I just got in the car." Allure replied. She noticed she didn't need her parking pass because the man wasn't even in the booth anymore. She sat the ticket in her cup holder with plans to throw it away.
"How was it?" Kyren asked, Avi's coos were heard in the background which made Allure smile. "I don't think I'm going back." Allure truthfully answered, she remembered there was a Starbucks not too far away, so she stopped in the line since she had time to waste.
"What?" Kyren briefly chuckled, "Why not?" He added, Allure sighed as she toyed with the ends of her extensions. "I'm not really feeling my therapist...it's like she's trynna get me to admit to shit I don't feel—like she's gaslighting me or something." She explained.
