The two spirits were back in the big room where they fought the Sentry stone. Ori saw a wall they could double jump to and use wall jump to scale it to reach a lantern to bash upward. "We can double jump up to that wall, scale it with wall jump, and use bash on that lantern to get up there." Ori gave a quick explanation to Sein. "Good thinking, Ori." Sein said to him. They began to use Ori's plan to proceed upward, which worked.

Once they were up, both spirits looked up to see the heart of the Ginso tree. They found it. But it was covered in corruption. The element was in a wooden spherical casing and leaking the purple, corrupted water that they had come across multiple times throughout their journey to get to the Ginso tree. "The heart of the Ginso tree once kept the Element of waters safe, but now its corrupted, all foul and decayed. We have to help it, cure it and cleanse all the blight by removing the corruption on both of the sides." Sein explained. "Ok then. Let's start." Ori said with Sein giving a nod in agreement "agreed. Let's start with that side." she said pointing to the left as Ori nodded before they headed left.

They soon came into an opening. They quickly noticed that it was night "Whoa. We've been climbing for hours." Ori spoke "Yeah. But this is no time to get distracted." Sein told Ori. The two spirits soon made their way up using bash on a projectile from an Arachne and a projectile from a Spitter soon coming to a breakable wall. "Hmm..." Ori thought out loud. He soon turned around to see an Arachne "I have an idea." he thought while approaching it.

Once Ori was in range, the Arachne shot a purple projectile at him only for Ori to bash it towards the wall, it flew passed Sein, just missing her and hit the wall. Sein jumped a bit when the projectile went passed her "Where did that come from?!" she half yelled out of surprise. She soon looked behind her to see Ori across the opening where the Arachne was "My bad!" he said with a sheepish grin. Ori soon got back to her, and they continued to walk soon coming to some thorns.

Sein destroyed them causing a chain reaction, the corruption on the left side soon were destroyed as well. "That's one side. Now let us get the right side." Sein spoke.

The two headed to the right side into another opening. They could see the sky much better than on the left. "Wow... What a beautiful view." Sein spoke while she admired the beauty in the sky. Ori soon turned to Sein "But there's more beauty in you than the sky." Ori said in a flirty way. This made Sein blush a deep blue "W-Well, th-thank you, O-Ori." she stammered as she smiled.

They soon began to look at what they can use, they saw three lanterns, a projectile plant, around two crawlers, and four mini portals. "Ok. We should get rid of the Crawlers first." Sein said, her cheeks still blue from Ori's flirt. "Understood." Ori replied. Sein soon began to take care of the Crawlers as well as a third one that was beneath a breakable wall before she returned to Ori, her blush was now gone "The Crawlers have been dealt with." Sein told him. Ori nodded and proceeded to guide a projectile into the portals using bash before it reached the wall that Sein saw and broke it.

They walked to the thorns and Sein destroyed it, causing the corruption to be destroyed on the right side of the element "We have freed it from the corruption, all we need to do is cleanse it." she stated. Ori remembered the Spirit tree's words "'focus my light. Let it interact with the elements'." he thought "I think I know how to cleanse it. The Spirit tree told me something while we were resting in the Thornfelt swamp after we got the water vein back." Ori spoke which caused Sein to look at him. Ori soon continued "He told me that I should focus his light and let it interact with the elements." he explained, Sein gave Ori a nod "Well, let's get down there and cleanse the waters." she said. The two lovers soon jumped down, landing next to the element "I hope this works." Ori said with uncertainty "It should work. It's the Spirit trees light after all." Sein told Ori as he began to walk up to the element.
