No passenger even sighed or breathed hard. They kept to themselves. Despite this, just to prove he wasn't playing he grabbed a 90 year old man and shot him in the head. This caused a panic and people screamed and attempted to call police during this fiasco...fiasco. Seems like a dull word for this, anyway the terrorist single handedly took out nearly 23 people of the original 50 on the plane. One man however, named Derek Barns was able to successfully hide an iPhone and record every second of it. He was able to upload it to YouTube and send it to his family which gave it to a news station after the hijacking. Nearly 38 minutes later the plane reached Washington DC. It was at this unfortunate time that the hijacker took the plane off of auto-pilot and crashed the plane into the White House while the President and the First Lady happened to be in it. This is the first time in history that the President was killed by terrorism. It is also the only time we have ever had to replace the White House as well. 50 people have a memorial at D.C. as a result of the hijacking. This was the "day". Like everyone else, the day means a lot to me, but it means more than a lot. The reason the "day" means a lot to me is because my Mother and Father were on that plane.
