I was born in the United States. I had an alright childhood. I had tons of friends, I did well in school and I loved my parents more than anything in the world. I loved being alive I guess you could say. However that was before the "day". The day that shook the world. The day that shook America. The day America went from the brave to the afraid.
For several years before we had been fighting terrorism. It was going on since the first Gulf War. This is nearly 40 years later. This is how it started. In 2013 the Boston Bomber bombs the Boston Marathon. In 2015, nearly 2 years later he is sentenced to death. This single action sparked this horrible war. It sparked a fire in the mind of an Islamic extremist. This man who shall not be named goes to the capital and just 5 miles away from the White House yells "America will fall! You all will burn!". He then blows a home made bomb and kills nearly 200 people. The man had an Instagram with nearly 2000 followers about the Iraqi terrorist group ISIS. He claimed to have ties to this terrorist group and turns out he did. He was from Iraq and had a family member there that apparently was in the group. He was arrested and charged with terrorism. It was only after he was executed that they found he had ties to ISIS. That was unfortunate for us.
