Little Confession

"Eve, letter from my brother, Kayden for u."
Nia standing in front of me, smile while handing the letter folded in a t-shirt shape.
"For?" I asked her.
"Am not sure. He passed em to Alison yesterday. He is not coming back back this weekend." She replied.
I nodded and took the letter from her.
I bring the letter and carefully open em and read it inside a toilet room in the hostel.
There's a few part written and caught my eyes "...I've keeping this a secret since we're friend for years. But, I need to confess to u that, I can't be your friend anymore as I've deeply fallen in love with you. I knew this is wrong, as u are now in a relationship with my best friend Rick...."
My hand was trembling. I have been crushing him since I was 14yo. So this was a surprise to me. I'm happy but also worry. Rick is a silent boy, smart & excellent in sport. I mean a boy that caught many attention but choose to falling for me. I make a move to catch his attention first and he was responding by taking me out and we have been decided to pursue that teenage love life since.
I read the letter again and again. Asking myself why now? I did tried to catch Kayden's attention before but he doesn't show any interest in me. Finally, a boy I've thought wouldn't be interested in me, right now confessing his feeling. His letter make me happy and the flower blooming with butterflies, alive and flying within me.
