SILAS' POV
It had been four weeks since I met Rue and even though it's been such little time I feel like I've known that girl all my life. Her favorite fruit are strawberries, her favorite color red, her favorite candy are twizzlers, her favorite hobbies...well she doesn't have many. She told me she likes true crime and is obsessed with it.
It's something we both have in common. I spent hours and hours talking about cases with her, watching Youtube videos on them and such. She always watched with amused eyes, as if in surprise with every small detail. She highly enjoyed it.
I feel my phone buzz in my pocket so I take it out and look at the screen. It was from Rue. I open up her message and start reading.
Rue: hey
Rue:wyd?I smile and my thumbs start moving across the keyboard.
Me: Yooo
Me: Nothing I'm bored as hell u?
Rue: same
Rue: sooooo
Rue: you wanna hang? watch a movie
Me: Depends on what we'll watch
Me: I have a very important true crime documentary I have to watchI watch three dots at the bottom of my screen appear and disappear. That process repeats about four times before I see Rue's message.
Rue: very true
Me: I'm jk I'm coming over rnI grab my keys and some snacks from the pantry and head out the door immediately. There was something about Rue that was so hypnotizing. I couldn't understand what it was but it pulled me to her like a magnet.
