Download fest 2023
The line up of performers were incredible, from Slipknot to smaller bands that got big like the one Karma Black was in. Her band Karma and the ghost were set to preform that summer in the UK. She was nothing more but excited.
"guys can you believe we're ACTUALLY going to be performing at download! like this is huge!" she exclaimed at her band members Jesse and Steve.
"dude we get to preform with Slipknot...And METALLICA!" yelled Jesse as he stuffed his guitar in their tour bus.
Karma was too excited she completely forgot she was supposed to be helping them with the equipment.
"Karms i know your excited BUT CAN YOU AT LEAST HAND ME YOUR MIC KIT!" Yelled Steve. Karma jumped in realization but stopped for a second once she heard her phone go off with an email notification.
'Dear Download Go-ers and performers,
we have added some more bands coming on this festival, please check the attach below.'
Karma read this aloud as she handed the mic kit to steve, She clicks on the link and skims through it and as she does so she stops at a specific band making her almost drop her phone.
"holy shit....Black veil Brides....BLACK VEIL FUCKING BRIDES!" she yelled in pure bliss.
"huh? what about them?" asked Marc as he walked out the bus hearing her scream.
"THEIR COMING TO DOWNLOAD! OH MY FUCK THIS...THIS IS WHAT IVE BEEN WAITING FOR!" she keeps yelling at the guys just laughing at her reaction.

as they finish up packing they head inside waiting for Gus their Bus driver to set off on there journey to the airport in New York that being the only airport having the best airlines for Uk Flights.
Karma settled down still shaken up by the sudden surprise till she heard her phone ringing, it was her fiancé Aj. she picks up happily "hey baby" she says
"hey beautiful just wanted to know if you guys were already heading out." he ask with a sweet tone to his voice.
"yes sir we are just waiting for Gus to come."
"ah good! man i'm going to miss you so much." he says with a hint of sadness in his tone.
"babe! you know you could come with me! like it would have been so fun!" she says
"love you know i cant...i'm working on my Ep right know since the deadline is this week." reminding her that his rap career was finally taking off.
"right...well i have awesome news!" she says
"what's up?"
"BLACK VEIL BRIDES ARE COMING TO THE FESTIVAL!!!" she yelled through the phone just as Gus comes in a tells her to quiet it down being that it was 5 in the morning.
"whoops sorry Gus...anyways yeah i'm so stoked right now."
"wow babe that's awesome! get to meet the band you've been hanging with since you were a kid, i'm super happy for you!" he says happily congratulating her.
"yeah....anyways i'm probably gonna go get some rest darling. i love you. i'll call you when i'm at the airport." she says yawning.
"okay my love be careful stay safe. Need you here so we can actually get married."
Karma chuckles and they both say their final 'i love you's' and goodbye then hang up.
Karma decided to head to her bunk that was above her drummer Lucas and get some shut eye for the 10 hour trip.
