Chapter 5

The days passed and shows were starting, Karma and her band all had there rehearsals and breaks but everyone was nervous, on the other hand Karma and Andy have been hanging out a lot lately, one thing Karma has noticed is anytime she would ask about Andy's wife Juliet Simms aka Lilith Czar he would try to change the topic or give a brief answer.
Karma and her fiancé have been trying to talk every night but Aj seems to be too busy these days, plus a bit of a time difference. But anytime she hung with Andy she forgets about her problems and focuses on the positive. Andy would always give her pointers and encouragement when needed. They were the perfect duo as a lot of people have been saying, Even the fans are noticing, spotting them backstage or in the venues just talking or going over to each others signing booths to just talk, almost to the point where Fans have shipped them.

Back in LA this hit news with the Rock community specifically Lilith (Juliet but i'll refer her as Lilith)
She didn't like this, but why would she care Her and Andy are supposed to be going through a divorce.
Andy thought that Lilith has let her fame get to her head and even talking back to her fans sometimes, almost bullying them and that was something Andy didn't stand for. They would fight over and over again about how Lilith should change but she never seemed to care at the end of the day. But once she saw and heard her now ex and another female acting friendly her head went to full on rage. She couldn't believe he would get over her so quick. She wanted to make him pay so as she does she did anything in her power to look in on this new friend of his.

Performance Day

It was officially time for Karma and the ghost to perform. Karma was freaking out and scared shitless. This was the first time she would perform in front of millions and plus all her favourite bands would be around listening and watching. Sure her band became an overnight sensation but her shows never felt this big. the venue was huge knowing either people came for her or not she didn't wanna mess this up.
Backstage the band before her Asking Alexandria was playing they were almost finished there set Karma sat on a chair waiting anxiously.
"Karma?" she heard the deep voice that gave her some sort of peace speak towards her
"oh hey Andy! what's up" she was biting on her nail but stopped once seeing him
"you alright there kid?" he asks knowing exactly what was going through her mind.
"uh yeah man i'm all good. just pre show jitters haha" she laughed nervously.
"i get it...your first big show, i remember that feeling. well i just came to wish you luck and that i'll be out there rooting you on no matter what okay?" he said as he put both hands on her arms giving them a tight squeeze of reassurance.
"thanks Andy." she smiled and gave him a hug.
"no worries kiddo." Hearing andy call her kiddo made her feel weird cause she wanted to look at her as more then just "kiddo" but a grown woman.
he hugged her back and walked on into the back venue.

"AND NOW WE KNOW YOU'VE ALL BEEN RAGING ABOUT THIS BAND LATELY EVERYONE...SO GIVE IT UP FOR KARMA AND THE GHOST!!" The Mc said into the Mic.
All member stepping out when hearing the fans finally scream out "KARMA,KARMA,KARMA!" as she entered last. "WHATS UP LONDONN!!!" she yelled back. Everyone was jumping around and going wild seeing the young girl.
They boys began playing there first song, and at that moment Karma felt this feeling of pride as she started singing the first lines of her song "stop and look for a wild beast..."

The band already in there last song on there hour set list, Karma stopped in between to talk to fans and just shout people out. As she was nearing the end she saw Andy Smiling at her from backstage, even recording her performance. She felt proud of herself for finally going through this and seeing all those fans looking at her in such awe. she felt like she really did it.

The band finally got off stage after the show and went back to there bus venue to freshen up.
"DUDEEEEE THAT WAS AWESOMEEEE!!" yelled Steve to the group, karma laughing at his excitement then she got a call, it was her fiancé.
"oh gotta take this guys i'll catch up soon."
she says to the guys as she goes behind a bus to answer "hello?"
"Hey Karma." Aj said on the other line.
"Karma? babe you never call me that unless i'm in trouble....what happened?"
"listen...this shit is getting old, your gone for too long and now i'm seeing your getting all friendly with that singer you like... like seriously? see this is what i was worried about remember when i told you that i was scared that once you blew up you'd just ditch me for another guy, a rockstar even? welp guess you did it. you've barely spoken to me and it's getting tiring chasing after you."
"what?...Aj that's not what it is, Andy and i are just friends. what are you trying to say?"
"Carmen...i'm done. this is done. i'll be out of the house by the end of the month or by the time you get back. i'll leave my half for the apartment and let you deal with that, i can't do this anymore. i'm sorry. we aren't gonna get married and we'll just move on won't our lives. it's not me this time...it's you. bye"
Karmas eyes filled with tears "A-" she couldn't even explain once he hung up. She got dumped....on her best night yet, AND OVER THE PHONE!
She stood still for a moment and sniffed trying her hardest to hide away any feelings, somethings she's good at but this time it really hurt, she lost the love of her life, on the best night of her life. She stood there trying to recollect herself before joining the rest of her group. as She got closer to the bus she took one deep breath and entered the bus with a smile on her face.
"I HAD THE BEST NIGHT OF MY FUCKING LIFE!" she said as she walked in cheerfully trying her hardest to put a front.
All the guys stared at hers
"AND YA KNOW WHAT? WE FUCKING DESERVE THE FUCKING WORLD YA KNOW?!"
Marc cheered but oddly enough Steve could see through it "Hey Karms? you alright?"
Karma looked straight at him with a forceful smile
"never better man..." she said almost timidly.
she started walking to the back into the washroom.
She stared at herself for a sec in the mirror, was she going crazy? did this finally break her to cause a scene? no. she instead pushed it all away and looked down at her engagement ring. She took it off and flushed it down the toilet, it meant nothing to her anymore, it's full of hate and disparity, she decided she'd just Send aj back the money for it since he might ask for it back.
She finished up with no tears and walked out the bus in fiery with all the men staring at her with question.
She finally walked out the venue and into a back field were she sat on the grass and stayed in silence till she finally felt her tears running. she didn't even notice because of all the anger she fuelled inside that she was bawling her eyes out. Nothing made sense to her, she felt empty and broken in any way possible. She wanted to get rid of it, she didn't want this stinging pain to hurt her longer then it should. So she went out and into a liquor store she went.
