Everyone thought lowermoon five no longer existed, demons and humans alike. The only ones who knew the truth were Tanjiro Kamado and the demon himself. The demon kept himself hidden in a small little shack up on Mount Natagumo. He was there today as well, but unlike most days, he was not alone.

Tanjiro was with him today, and so, Rui had allowed himself to regress. It was nighttime, which meant he could go outside with no concerns, so he and Tanjiro had been busy watching the stars. They were always so pretty, being high up on the mountain, no lights to try to rival their brightness. Rui started to grow bored and started to tear the grass from the ground. Tanjiro noticed this, turning towards him.

"Anything you want to do, Little Spider?" He asked him. Rui startled slightly, turning towards him as well. "Um... Uh... I dunno." Rui replied. There wasn't much to do up on top of this mountain, to be honest. "Hmm... How about we go to the village nearby? I'll disguise you so you don't have to worry about anyone recognizing you or realizing you are a demon." Tanjiro suggests.

Rui looked at him, excitement visible in his eyes. Tanjiro led him back into the shack, bringing out the things he had brought up the mountain with him. He disguised Rui, making him look human. He was nearly unrecognizable. Nearly. They started to make their way down the mountain, Tanjiro leading Rui down it and towards the village because, even though Rui probably knew the way better than Tanjiro did, he didn't want Rui to trip and accidentally hurt himself.

When they got there, Rui wanted to go everywhere. Despite popular belief, even amongst demons, demons were able to eat human food. It didn't do anything for them except for tasting good, but that didn't matter to the little demon running around. Tanjiro made sure Ruk stayed in sight but went to a stand and bought Rui a little spider stuffie. He hid it before going to collect Rui to take him towards the food stands.

They got a whole bunch of different types of foods, taking some back up the mountain with them, but they did eat some whilst they were still exploring the village.

Once they had gotten back up the mountain, the sun was starting to come up, meaning it wad Rui's bed time. After getting him all ready and tucked up in bed, Tanjiro brought out the spider plush he had bought at the market. Rui saw it, staring at it in awe.

"Fo' me?" Rui asked, pointing at the spider, then himself. "Yes." Tanjiro laughed as Rui's eyes lit up, and he had started to make grabby hands towards it. Tanjiro handed the stuffed spider over to the baby, who immediately brought it up towards his chest, hugging it tightly. "Goodnight, Little Spider." Tanjiro said as Rui started to drift to sleep.
