It had been an eventful day with its shares of ups and downs, but overall, it had been good. It was around the time Genya would usually take a nap. Some days were easier than others for him to agree to them, but unfortunately, today was not one of those days.

"Please, Genya, you can have any flavor milk you want when you lay down, and any choice of snack for when you wake up." Sanemi tried. "Nu. I nu wan nap. I nu sleepy. I wan play!" Genya complained. "You can play when you wake up. You'll have more energy to play then." Sanemi tried to convince him. "Bu when I wake, I nu hab energy." Genya protested.

"Not immediately, but after a good rest and a snack, you will have all the energy you need to have all the fun you want." Sanemi coaxed. "Pwomise?" Genya asked. "Promise." Sanemi answered. "An I still has milk?"
"Any flavor you want." Sanemi promised. "Um...den...choccy milk?"
"Of course."

Sanemi brought Genya to the kitchen, where he warmed some milk and mixed chocolate powder in, making sure it wasn't too hot and handing it to Genya. "Dank oo." Genya thanked. They then went to Genya's bedroom, where Sanemi tucked him in and gave him his stuffed teddy.

"When I's wake up, I hab pwetzels?" Genya asked. "Sure." Sanemi replied. "Can chu read me stowy?" Genya requested. "Certainly." With that, Sanemi picked up one of the story books that was on Genya's shelf, sat down and began to read. After a while, he noticed that Genya had fallen asleep, but he didn't stop reading until the book was done.
