When Giyuu woke up, the sun was too bright, worsening his already bad headache. His tummy hurt as well, and he felt awfully cold even though it was a hot day. All he wanted was for his Dada to make the ouchies go away, but Obani was not here with him right now.

He climbed out of bed, forcing himself to stand upright and take wobbly steps towards the door. When it was open and he was out of the room, he stumbled towards the kitchen. When he reached it, he saw Obanai at the kitchen table, a mug of tea in hand.

Once he saw Giyuu though, he put the mug down, making his way over to him. Giyuu, one hand holding onto the door frame for support, made a grabby hand with his other hand at his caregiver, asking to be picked up as tears started to prick his eyes. Obanai picked him up, shushing him. "Shh... what's wrong, Honey bee?"

"M tummy n head hurty, an Is cold, an wan Dada to make ouchies go 'way." Giyuu wailed. "Oh, baby. Dada will try his best. Here, let's go back to your room. I'll close the blinds and bring you stuff that will help with the ouchies, hmm? How does that sound?" Giyuu nodded, agreeing with Obanai, but that may not have been the best idea as a shooting pain went through his head.

Once inside the room, the blinds were closed, and Giyuu was laid back on the bed, only thin blankets drapped over him for comfort. Obani left the room, and when he returned, he brought medicine with him. "I nu drink dat." Giyuu protested as Obanai poured some of the medicine on a spoon. "Please, little one? It'll make you feel better." Obani tried, but Giyuu still didn't agree. "You'll only have to take a bit more tonight. Please?"

After a bit more convincing, Giyuu agreed, taking the medicine. He had a look of disgust on his face the whole time until he actually tasted it. It didn't actually taste that bad, he admitted begrudgingly. Giyuu took a nap, as instructed by Obanai, stating that it would make him better.

When he woke up, Obani had made him soup, which he refused to eat until Obani compromised by feeding Giyuu himself, which seemed to make the little very happy. "Thank oo, Dada." He said with a yawn, snuggling up to Obanai and falling asleep yet again.
