I rang for the elevator again and kept pressing it until it opened.
I pressed my floor and hope Rae wouldn't have made it all the way down the hall yet.
The doors opened again so I stepped out and saw Rae just getting close to the room door.
"Rae wait a second!" I yelled down the hall and ran as fast as I could and stopped her.
"Rae please listen to me!" I said getting in front of her so she couldn't open the door.
"What do you have to say to me Y/N?" Rae said with obvious pain and resentment in her tone.
"Just hear me out before you never talk to me again please," I begged.
"You have 5 minutes and then I'm going home," Rae said starting a timer as we both stepped into my room next door.
"Rae you have to believe me that I had no idea that Lisa would do that to you," I started explaining myself sitting down.
"Yeah of course you didn't 4 minutes 30 Y/N," Rae demanded crossing her arms.
I grabbed her by the hip and sat her down too.
"Touch me again and your hand will be gone!" Rae yelled standing up.
"Okay I'm sorry Rae but it's not like we were together. We were friends who just happened to have sex," I said trying to get her to see my point.
"Just friends who happened to have sex? Is that all I am to you? Just someone you could fuck whenever you get stressed or angry at the world?" Rae yelled.
"For the record you came onto me and we had sex one time Rae!" I yelled back.
"And what do you care? We dated before and broke up. We know it wouldn't work so why are you acting as if we are together?"
A tear came to her eye as she stood there shocked at what I said.
"You fucking asshole! I've been trying to get you to talk to me about that night for what seems like years and everytime you blow me off just to fuck some other girl instead!"
Rae was getting more emotional and I could feel I was losing her by the second.
"Yes I broke up with you before but when we having sex I felt something click Y/N. And for you to say that it won't work now because it didn't when we were young is just fucking dumb!"
"Rae let's just talk okay we'll calk down and we'll talk right now," I said calmly.
"No Y/N you're too late! You made me watch as you fucked Lisa and what I presume you fucked Rosé before that?"
"Rae please,"
"Did you?"
"..."
"Did you fuck her!"
"Yes I did."
Rae's head dropped down to the floor as I heard her sniffling.
"But Rae I promise you..."
I picked her head up to face me.
"She wasn't as good as you," I said seeing an improvement in her facial expressions to which it looked like she didn't hate me as much.
But I was wrong.
"Y/N just shut up," Rae said.
A timer on her phone went off signalling I was losing Rae for good.
"Times up Y/N My flight is gonna leave soon..." Rae said picking up what little stuff she could and went to the door.
I had to think fast or else I'll lose my best friend forever.
