"What's going on?"
Jimmy Argent sighs as he and his uncle both look up to see Allison half asleep in her pajamas looking over the foyer with a confused expression. Both men stop as Jimmy holds onto his bag tightly, afraid to show what's inside.
"My mom just texted us. We're going to pick her up." Jimmy calls out to her. Allison crosses her arms over her chest, frowning in concern. "But it's two o'clock in the morning. Is everything okay?" She asks them.
"Yeah, yeah. She's just having a little car trouble." Argent replies in a calm tone of voice. "Not serious, is it?" Allison asks. Argent smiles fakely again and gestures toward Allison's bedroom. "No, just a flat tire. Go-go back to bed, sweetheart."
"Night Allison." Jimmy calls back as both men watch her walk back to her room. Both of them clearly feeling guilty about lying to her, before they turn to leave.
"Thanks for coming with me." Argent says to his nephew watching Jimmy fiddle with his hands, "I know you don't want to see her." Jimmy chuckles as he glances at his uncle, "As long as she's not staying with me, I have no problem making her sure that my reckless mother doesn't get herself killed."
"You're a good kid, Jimmy." Argent says with a smile. "She's still my mom, you know? I don't want her to get killed by her being the way she is. I want her alive and I think part of me will always love her but... she changed." Jimmy whispers looking out the window as they pull up to the warehouse seeing Kate now walking towards the two.
"And there's the gun. I hate her again." Jimmy mutters as Argent gets out of the SUV as Kate approaches the car with a clear look on his face that he's not pleased at all but what he just saw. "Get in." He says sternly. Kate scoffs in mock offense before answering in a sarcastic tone of voice, "Not even, 'Hello?' 'Nice to see you?"
Jimmy sighs as he rolls down the window and stares out to his mother and Argent. "Just put the assault rifle away before someone notices." He calls out. Kate rolls her eyes not taking her son seriously, "There's the son I love. Aren't you going to give your mother a hug or a kiss hello?"
Jimmy doesn't say a word as he stares out the front of the car. "Chris, there were two of 'em." Kate says, turning back to her brother. "The Alpha?" Argent asks. "I don't know, but one of them tried to kill me-"
