Saving You; Chapter 2.

Its been 4 weeks since Maura started Teaching at Boston College. She had gotten used the boys who thought they were funny letting out sly comments.

Jane had Pe first. They were doing baseball. Jane loved baseball because she was the only girl on the team who could smash the ball and run fast enough to get a home run.

Jane had her light grey Boston College t shirt on and black shorts with white ankle sock and her nike trainers.

Maura was watching from the lab window and noticed that Jane excelled in sport. Maura stayed at the window drinking her coffee watching down at Jane then took a walk down to the gym changing rooms.

"Mrs Cole" Maura said as she opened the changing room doors. Mrs Cole was the coach and she wasn't there. Maura figured she would be outside with the student so she walked out to the field.

"Dr.Isles? Of what do i owe the pleasure?" Mrs Cole said as Maura reached the baseball field.

"I just come to ask about a student of mine." Maura replied taking a sip of her coffee.

"Fire away." Mrs Cole replied.

"Jane..Rizzoli? Anything going on with her?" Maura asked as she watched Jane play.

"Sure..That kids going through alot. Her parent just got a divorce..And its over her sexuality. Her father don't except that Jane is gay." Mrs Cole said. Maura looked at Jane playing for a moment when she was interrupted by Mrs Cole again.

"Why? you taking a liking to Miss Rizzoli Maura?" Mrs Cole asked.

"Don't be silly! I am her teacher..." Maura said as she looked away.

"That all i will ever be.." Maura said.

"All im saying is.. Dont do something you regret ok.. Her dad is a mean guy" Mrs Cole said. With that reply Maura turned to Mrs Cole.

"Could you ask Jane to see me at the end of the day?" Maura said looking up at Mrs Cole.

"Sure thing" She replied then Maura walked away.

The end of the day came round quickly for Maura and Jane was already waiting in her class for her.

"Oh! Jane you startled me!" Maura jumped as she walked into her class room.

"Sorry..I didn't mean to scare ya" Jane replied as she stood up.

"Dont worry about it.." Maura said with a warm smile.

"So what's this about?" Jane asked.

"Well..I want to help you Jane. I want you to know im here when ever you need me..Even when your at home. So i want you to take my number and you can call or text me when ever you need someone. I know what your going through Jane. I was in a very serious relationship with a woman called Sophie. I know how it feels to not be accepted. Im only a phone call away alright?" Maura said as she pulled out a piece of paper with a number on it and handed it to Jane. Jane took the paper then looked at Maura.

"Maura..Isn't this illegal?" Jane asked.

"Your 19.. You can do what you please." Maura replied with a smile.

When Jane got in her truck she sat there for a while looking at the piece of paper.

A few minuets later Maura's phone started to ring.

"Jane?" Maura answered.

"I just wanted to make sure you didn't give me a dodge number" Jane laughed. Maura smiled and looked down.

"Go home Jane. Get some sleep..Ill be waiting for you call" Maura said then hung up the phone.
