"Kai!" Lloyd yelled, as the volcano crumbled around him. Kai looked up to see the small child clinging to the rock for his life, the fear in his eyes quickly growing.

"Kai, help me!" Lloyd yelled again. The volcano roared, rocks fell, one by one creating a wall between the two. Kai watched the fangblade and heard Lloyds cries.

Doubts and stress consuming him he leaped for the blade, grabbing it and landing onto a small rock. He looked at the wall. He leaped and began to chip at it with the blade.

"Lloyd?!" He yelled, hoping the boy could hear him. "Lloyd, are you ok?!" The magma bubbled, it was getting closer. The blade was barely chipping away at the rock. Kai kept screaming Lloyds name to no response, only the bubbles of the magma and the walls crumbling around him providing any sound.

"Is Lloyd… Damn it kai don't think about that!" He said to himself. "Lloyd!" He desperately chipped at the rock. "Ka- you- out-n-n ow!" Kai recognized his sister's voice through the headset. He saw a rope of sorts hanging down. "Q-ick-ly!" Kai looked at the wall.

"If Lloyd was on the other side, he's long gone." He thought. He looked at the rope, and felt a spark inside. His hands felt.. hot. Very hot. He looked at the hand not holding the blade, it was on fire! Was.. this is true potential? He continued to climb the wall, as he reached the top he looked to the other side, no Lloyd.

Was.. he really gone? Kai saw the rope just out of his reach. "I'm sorry Lloyd." He said as he jumped to grab hold of the rope.
