Rotxo, Kiri, Neteyam, Tsireya, and Lo'ak sat with Zeti on rocks near the water while Tsireya taught them how to breathe. Tuk didn't go with them because she wanted to learn how to heal people and help mom.
Ao'nung made it abundantly clear that he had more important things to do than instruct them on breathing. As a result, Tsireya was in charge of them at the moment. They have been working on it for about 30 minutes so far.
"Breathe in...." Tsireya said as she held in her breath. Everyone followed her lead as they held in their breath slowly." And breathe out." She told them as everyone all breathe out." Imagine flickering a flame." She turns to look at Zeti, who was breathing in and out.
"You must slow down your heartbeat." She told them as she slowly put her hand on Zeti's chest. He's heartbeat slowly went fast as she was touching him.
"Breathe in." Tsireya said as Zeti gradually took in, attempting to control his pulse that was beating quicker than he needed." Breathe from down here." She told him, telling him to breathe through his stomach." Breathe out slowly." Zeti looked at her as she helped him breathe.
"Zeti, your heartbeat is fast. Try to focus." She told him before moving on, finally looking him in the eyes as he apologised. That made the boys giggle, and Kiri just rolled her eyes in disapproval.
"Breathe in. And breathe out. Let your mind go clear." She said as she continue helping him breathe, not noticing the thick air between everyone.
After that, Tsireya went to Kiri and helped her take a breath while Zeti looked at the boys. Zeto rolled his eyes as his brother smirked at him. He was aware that they would never stop talking about this.
He didn't want to be mocked by them. He was the older brother, so he shouldn't have been the one in love. Instead of following a girl, he should be keeping his siblings safe.
"Come. Let's test out your breathing." Tsireya told them, he was poured from his thoughts, when they all got on their ilu. They all dive in, putting their breathing to the test.
Holding their breath, they all dipped further and deeper into the water. When Zeti saw the fishes moving independently, he grinned. The vibrant coral reef at its best. In the deep end, their white pattern dots on their face glow.
Zeti turned around when he felt a tap on the shoulder and saw Kiri swimming off, giggling. Before chasing after her, he smiled. In an effort to escape Zeti, Kiri navigated the obstacles with ease.
He wasn't behind her when she turned around to check. She took a gander at her environmental elements, attempting to find him. Zeti, who thought it best to appear in front of her, ran into her when she looked back in front of her.
They both fell off their ilu and smiled at each other. They looked up and noticed that everyone else was back up to the surface. They looked at each other before swimming up. Everyone smiled as they were looking at each other.
