Goodbye?

I don't remember the car ride home. All I know is the warm feeling of Hobi's fingers in my hair. He spoke to me softly, words of kindness and adoration.

I opened my eyes. Was everything that just happened just a dream? I then realized I didn't recognize the place I was in. For a second I panicked as I rubbed my eyes. "Where the hell am i?"

"You're awake" I turned around to see Hobi with a plate of pancakes sitting on the couch next to me. I must've crashed at his house. "I have some food for you." He pinched my cheek and I swatted at his hand.

His pancakes were yummy and they smelled almost as amazing as they tasted. I realized I must have slept in, for it was already noon. After I ate he brushed my hair, and we talked.

"Um, y

?"

 "there is something i wanted to tell you."

"Yes?"

"Well um, I am moving away from Willowgreen. I should've told you sooner, but there is a dancing academy that I got into, and it's all the way in california. I'll be leaving next week"

He pulled me up onto the bed and squeezed me tight, his cheek pressing onto my head. "I am going to miss you so much." I cried. I held back tears. I had never loved anyone as much as Hobi. I laid my head on his chest and listened to the sound of his heart beating and it reminded me of how much he loved me.

I didn't want to say goodbye. I didn't want our first kiss to be our last.
