Catastrophe POV

I walked down the hallway, alone, each foot creating an echo. I was to walk to face Headmistress alone, per her request.

I was allowed a samurai sword and a throwing knife, but nothing else. I turned the corner and saw the door to her room as The Trinity had described one at a time.

It was a white door with glass leaves and vines curling all around it. They mirrored my reflection. I cautiously walked over and touched one of the leaves, there was a gap between my finger and its reflection, so I knew it was a two-way mirror.

I cautiously slid open the silver bolt, the metal cold like gun metal...like the briefcase.....where had that gone? I thought back to when I fell from the window. Arsyn was swinging the briefcase, taunting me.

I shook my head, clearing the fog of my memories, and opened the door. The floor was covered in a brown, padded material. A woman was sitting on a mat in the middle, seemingly meditating.

"Shut the door." She said, without moving. I shut the door behind me and she stood up, even with my boots on, we were the same height.

I realized that we were pretty similar. Similar heights, similar boots, similar weapons..... While I thought, Headmistress had moved back, and slowly undid her swords.

She jabbed one forward, I didn't have enough time to bring out my own sword, hers caught me in the side. I gasped and held it for a couple of seconds. Not noticing any blood, I took out my own sword.

"Got a little distracted, didn't you Taylor?" Taylor....my real...old.. name. She was trying to distract me! I leapt backwards like a panther and watched her through slitted eyes.

"It's Catastrophe. And you know that, Headmistress." I said, a chill in my voice. She shrugged at me, stepping forward. I stepped back, we continued this until my back hit the wall.

"Thought you were so smart?" She smirked. She held up both of her swords, pushing up with my own sword, I ducked beneath her, and tackled her legs.

We wrestled for a few seconds before I got up, cautiously crossing to the other side of the room. "I'm tired of all this Cat-astrophe and mouse." I said, eyeing her swords.

She grinned and I sprinted forward, hitting her in the shoulder with my blade. She winced and reeled back. I began to fight against her two sword with my one. "Seems like I'm not the only one who gets distracted." I taunted, seeing if she'd take the bait.

She swung down on my sword, and I held mine straight across, like I had with Homeslice. I threw mine up, her sword flying out of her hands. She quickly sliced me in the stomach! I reeled back, holding my side.

My suit was like a Kevlar vest, it could stop the blade from doing any major damage, but not prevent cuts and bruises. I stood back up, clutching my side with my left arm and swinging with my right. I could tell that I had damaged her left shoulder by the way she was fighting.

We continued to fight, landing a few hits on one another. After a bit, we were both completely ragged and almost out of breath. I soon realized that we not only dressed similar, but fought and thought similar!

I hoped I was right! I threw down my sword, straight up into the padded material. Headmistress looked at me, completely confused. In the blink of an eye, she ran forward to grab it.

I tackled her and pinned her down, taking out my throwing knife, her second sword slid across the floor. I held my throwing knife up, ready to strike, but something in my gut told me not to.

I left the knife slide to the floor and slowly, painfully, got off the ground. I stood, watching Headmistress. She tried to get up, but stayed down. Holding out my hand, she took it, I pulled her up.

"Thank you." She said, not going for her sword. I gave her a curt nod. "We need to talk." I said quietly.

She looked me in the eyes and titled her head. "Okay...?" "Tell me everything you know about Arsyn." I bluntly said. She sighed.

"Okay. Here's what I know. She took over the testing part of 89, and those people you were fighting for the briefcase? Those weren't Russian, they were from 89. She fooled you so she could run tests on you." Headmistress said.

I froze, completely horrified and confused. "So...she set the whole thing up so she could design me as a soldier. All of these tests and things were for her!?" I asked, completely shocked.

"Yes. She's trying to take over all of 89." Headmistress said, turning toward the back wall. She walked back and grabbed something I couldn't see. I just hope it's not another weapon....

Headmistress turned back around, I was poised, ready to strike. She started to laugh, and then turned serious. "You are the best fighter out there. It's no wonder why she tried to make you into a solider. Take this, you can hack into the system." Headmistress said. She placed a helmet on my face.

It was like nothing I had ever seen before. It was clear and went over my face only, not the top of my head. It had two ear holes that hung off of my ears, keeping it on.

It was really weird feeling and looking. "We need to get all those girls together." I said, snapping my fingers. Headmistress nodded and didn't say anything. "Will you join our side?" I asked, looking her in the eyes.

She didn't say anything for a few moments. When she opened her mouth to speak The Trinity came in and dragged me out of the room. I yelled in frustration as I couldn't fight them.
