Vampires. You always had curiosity as to how they were created, how they appeared on Earth. These mystical creatures were definitely your favorite ones. And Chan, your boyfriend, was one of them.

You loved running your hands through his pale skin. The way his arms would wrap around your body and pull you close to him. The way his lips, even if they were cold, would touch yours.

Dating Chan was like paradise.

Even if he was a vampire, he'd still try his best to make you happy.

But there was something wrong between the two of you. You weren't supposed to be together.

Vampires and Humans shouldn't go to the same places. Shouldn't interact with each other. Shouldn't live together.

-

The government had made an agreement with the vampires, which consisted in giving them new bags of blood every month if they didn't attack or interact at all with humans.

But you and Chan ended up meeting, even if the agreement was made many years ago.

You were walking in the park in the middle of the night. You had a stressful day and needed some air to clear your head up.

You were about to sit down on one of the benches when you felt a hand on your mouth, muffling your screams for help.

"Be quiet" You heard a male voice say. Being scared and not knowing what he wanted from you, you decided to follow his orders.

You whimpered, feeling a pair of fangs penetrate your neck. The pain was immense and you could barely handle it.

The male was drinking your blood, humming. The male pulled away once he was full, while you were crying silently, as he still had his hand covering your mouth.

"I'm gonna let go of you but you can't run away, understood?" He asked before letting go of you.

You turned around, wanting to know who had done that to you.

You were mesmerized. The male was handsome. He had huge plump lips and his eyes were really dark. Those were the first things you noticed about him.

"What?" He asked, tilting his head. You simply shook your head and sighed.

"Why me?" You looked at him, right into his eyes. "You should know you shouldn't be here. You shouldn't drink my blood nor be near me. Like, at all"

The male rolled his eyes. He didn't like rules not even one bit. Rules made him angry. He always wanted to do whatever he wanted.

"I don't care about those damn rules. And I picked you because you seemed like you had blood good enough for me to drink." He said before sighing. "But there's something bothering me. Why's your blood so sweet?"

Fast forward to a few days later, you had found out you two were soulmates.

Since that day, Chan never left you alone. The more time he spent with you, the more he got attached to you.

By the end of that month, it felt like the both of you were truly meant to be. He treated you like a queen.

He wanted you to be happy all the time.
