Your POV

"Kids!!!" you shouted as you walked through the door. Soon, you heard footsteps coming down the stairs and then both of your kids stood in front of you. "Have you guys packed your stuff already?"

"Yep," Jake answered, popping the p as he did so. "Are we going now?"

"Me too," Jane chimed in. "Can we stop at the bookstore at the airport? I've finished my last book so I have nothing to read on the plane."

"Alright, line up your luggage so one of the staff can take it to the car. We're going in ten minutes. Let me change my clothes first. And yes, we can stop at the bookstore. I need to grab something as well," you informed Jane and she brightened up immediately. You quickly went into your room to take a quick shower before putting on some sweatshirt and sweatpants. As you saw your reflection in the mirror, you sighed. Jackson has clearly rubbed off his fashion sense into yours. Your outfit at the moment looked exactly like his. And to think that you used to hate the way he dressed himself judging from his airport fashion...

You sighed and grabbed the passports, making sure that you had them all before shoving them into your bag and climbed into the car. The trip to the airport felt like a routine after years of doing the same thing. Even though you didn't fly as often as Jackson did, it started to get to you. Somehow you started to question Jackson's idea about this yearly "family" gathering. The twins didn't seem to oppose it yet, but you could see that in a year or two, they would probably not want to go on holiday with their parents anymore. I wondered if Jihoon would join us this year, considering he was already in college now. He skipped last year and the year before that as well, so there was a big possibility that he wouldn't show up this year as well.

However, when Jackson picked you up and the twins at the airport, you were surprised to see that Jihoon accompanied him. Jackson claimed that Jihoon was trying to hone his driving skill so Jihoon offered to drive him to the airport for practice. However, when he drove you to the hotel, you realized he didn't need any more practice. He was already good at driving. What surprised you was how Jake and Jane seemed to switch roles. Jake was suddenly quiet during the ride, while Jane suddenly became interested in Jihoon. She asked him everything about college life. You didn't think much about it, thinking that Jane might be genuinely interested in college life.

However, things got a bit interesting when Jake chimed in. You thought he wasn't listening to their conversation, but apparently, he did.

"So, hyung," Jake leaned forward to fit in between the front seats, "Is it true that college girls are different? Like more beautiful?"

Jackson smacked Jake's head in no time, "I sent you to school to study, not to drool on girls," Jackson grunted. You tried hard to hold your laughter as Jackson himself wasn't a model student either, so you thought it was rather funny that he tried to scold Jake while he himself was no better.

"I'm not drooling on girls," Jake rubbed the back of his head. "I'm just asking. I heard my friends say that all their brothers' friends, especially the girls, were prettier and nicer. And they love cute boys like me."

"Ewww," Jane scrunched her face. "They should get their eyes checked if they think you're cute." To which Jake shoved her shoulder gently for mocking him while Jihoon laughed at their antics.

Jihoon took a peek through the rear-view mirror, "I don't know about your friend's brothers' girl friends, but maybe you can see it yourself? One of my friends is going to pick me up later, so I'll introduce you to her."

Jane's POV

Her? Jihoon's oppa friend is a girl? I froze in my seat as I heard the news. Sweat started to form on my forehead and suddenly I felt anxious, being in the same confined space as him. How foolish of me. Jihoon oppa is a college student now, obviously he would have friends, who were girls. My stomach churned at the thought of seeing Jihoon oppa with other girls. Suddenly, I didn't want to be here anymore. I sucked in a deep breath and noticed that we finally arrived at the hotel. There was nothing else that I wanted other than getting out of this car, away from Jihoon oppa.
